Rita L. Lombardi Psychological Counseling / Bilingual Psychotherapy (NY License #001750 ) 111 S. Hamilton Poughkeepsie, NY 12601 Email: ritallombardi@yahoo.com / Phone #: 917-416-7551 1. I am a Licensed LMHC by the University of NYS, bilingual in both English and Spanish. I began my career in 1988 as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist at the University of Buenos Aires with a concentration in Psychoanalysis and Psychological Testing. I later became a Psycho-dramatist dealing with Psychodynamic interventions, as well as Behavioral techniques and Counseling. I have over 30 years of experience. 2. I began working for the National Argentinean Board of Education where I created, implemented and led psycho-dramatic seminaries, helping principals and teachers at intermediate and elementary schools. I was the primary contact for families and staff to facilitate fluid communication and good education for children. 3. As a Private Practice Professional, I developed treatment plans tailored specifically to my clients. I also supervised clinical cases, coordinated care and services such as interaction with patients, family members and physicians from hospitals to facilitate adequate transferring. I later developed strong psychological skills in coaching, consulting and counseling of top executives in corporations such as Telecom Argentina, Phillip Morris Argentina. I also have had extensive experience in counseling immigrants, especially unaccompanied minors and their available family members, for potential immigration relief. Most of these individuals do not speak English and the vast majority of them are unable to understand the complexity and intricacy of U.S. immigration laws even in their native Spanish. They may not even be aware that they have pending court cases, and may not appear at a scheduled hearing, which often leads to very serious consequences 4. I currently specialize as a Bilingual Psychotherapist targeting young people and adults who suffer from disorders such as PTSD, Major Depression, Psychosis and Anxiety. I also work with individual and family counseling, helping with diagnosis and crisis intervention, and serving parents with their own dynamics within the family. 5. I serve as PRN Clinician (Clinician called as needed) for BCFS working with unaccompanied asylum-seeking minors. BCFS Health and Human Services' Emergency Management Division specializes in emergency management, incident management, disaster response, public health & medical emergency response, mass care, medical sheltering and participating in planning for vulnerable populations..

College can be an exciting time, but it also comes with unique pressures: academic stress, big life decisions, changing relationships, and figuring out who you are and who you want to be. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure, you don’t have to go through it alone. I’m Erin C. Hayes, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master of Science in Social Work from Columbia University. My passion is helping young women tap into their strengths, build confidence, and navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and other emotional or medical stressors. I often use Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which focuses on reshaping unhelpful thought patterns so you can feel more in control of your emotions and actions. I also integrate other approaches when they’re the right fit because therapy should feel personal, and not a one-size-fits-all. I believe our past experiences shape how we see ourselves, but they don’t have to define our future. In our work together, you’ll find a supportive, judgment-free space where you can be heard, gain clarity, and move forward with resilience and self-assurance. If you’re ready to explore your potential and create a future that feels true to you, I’d be honored to support you on that journey. <script src="https://thrivingcampus.com/verified.js?pid=41620"></script>
During your life, you may experience difficult periods of adjustment related to major life changes and/or losses, difficulty in relationships, and/or cultural/social differences in environmental contexts. These periods in your life may lead to or be related to general difficulty coping with life circumstance, depression, anxiety, and other mental health issues. I provide a holistic approach to working with clients striving to understand them from an intrapsychic, interpersonal, and sociocultural perspective. In working with you, I endeavor to understand how your personality, relationships, and sociocultural identities and environmental contexts interact to affect your psychological functioning and wellbeing. Personal development through counseling/psychotherapy comes from feeling secure in a relational context to explore one's issues. Primary to this process is the establishment of a nurturing therapeutic relationship/alliance. In establishing a safe environment, I will assist you in experiencing more satisfying attitudes, relationships, and feeling more empowered. A major aspect of my work involves understanding how racial, ethnic, and cultural diversity affects one's psychosocial functioning. Understanding your sociocultural identities and how they inform and affect your life assists me in determining what interventions and techniques will be most appropriate for you.
Hello! I'm a senior clinician (NY, CT and PSYPACT states) who specializes in working with young adults and their parents using evidence-based methods. I use DBT to help people stick to their intentions and goals, rather than feeling controlled by their moods. I draw from DBT and CBT to help patients, parents, and couples improve relationships and face fears. In addition to DBT, I employ specialized CBT treatments like Exposure and Response Prevention therapy (ERP) to target OCD, Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE), DBT-PE, and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for trauma, and exposure for phobias. I have special interests in treating sleep and circadian rhythm problems and climate anxiety. Most people benefit from identifying their goals and concrete steps to achieve them. I want to help you picture your life worth living and to systematically work towards feeling content. Please don't hesitate to reach out to see if I'm a good fit for your needs!

From the very beginning, with sensitivity and compassion, I strive to create a safe and nonjudgmental space in which you can express thoughts, feelings, dreams, and desires that you may feel unable to share elsewhere. I believe that constructive change occurs when we work collaboratively to develop insight into your current struggles; only then can we find ways to help you move forward. Another of my strengths is in helping young people navigate the transition into adulthood. I have been practicing for more than ten years and I have specific training in psychodynamic therapy, mindfulness, and existentially oriented psychotherapy.

My experience as a school counselor has instilled my passion for helping students and families navigate the many challenges that are faced in and outside of the school setting. Hi! My name is Samantha Fontana, a licensed mental health counselor at Spotless Mind Mental Health Counseling. I collaboratively work with young adults and adults to improve their mental health by utilizing an integrated and evidence-based treatment approach. Psychodynamic talk therapy, CBT, DBT, ERP, and psychoeducation are just a few of the treatment approaches that I incorporate, as I believe therapy should be individualized for you. You may feel stuck sometimes, have trouble understanding your emotions, or need some help sorting out your thoughts, but the good news is you do not have to do it alone. Mental health affects every part of your life, and I am here to provide a safe, empathetic, and judgement-free space to explore and express what you are experiencing. It is important to talk about your feelings and experiences, and by examining them together, we can address any concerns regarding anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, or negative thoughts, to name a few. We can then work on building coping skills to help you deal with life’s stressors. I look forward to helping guide you along your journey to a happier and healthier mental well-being.
