I'm glad that you've found your way to my profile! I'm providing online individual therapy and group therapy to adults anywhere in the state of Pennsylvania. I have worked with college students for the last 7 years and work hard to help students on their journey of healing to help set them up for success and fulfillment in the future. I work with most mental health concerns but specialize in trauma recovery and working with LGBTQIA+ identified individuals. Please see my website for more in depth information about me and my work. Note that my fees are listed as my general fee but I offer a sliding scale for those who would have difficulty in being able to pay for sessions given that I don't take insurance and am private pay only.

People I work with are hurting and confused, feeling alone and anxious, acting like everything's ok when it's not, hiding a lot of themselves a lot of the time. If you want to understand and work better with how you're thinking, feeling, and acting, if you want to be more dialed in and feel more confident... I can help.
Hi, I'm Jamie I'm interested in how emotional abuse or neglect have impacted my client's current state. If you have had a negative experience with another therapist, family member(s) or the church, I'd would like the privilege to earn your trust and help you get to the root of your struggle. I specialize in identifying and treating victims of narcissistic abuse.
Each of us lives our story in chapters—some filled with joy, others with hardship, and many with the quiet in-betweens. As a therapist, I see my role as walking alongside people as they turn the page, helping them make meaning of the past while creating space for new beginnings. I believe we all hold the keys within us: keys to resilience, healing, growth, and self-understanding. I utilize a strength-based approach to treatment as well as incorporate various styles that suit your needs. My practice is grounded in creating a safe and supportive environment to create a healthier future while honoring the past.
Struggling from anxiety and/or depression? Having a hard time managing relationships? Can't get past things that have happened in your life? Want to work on problems with family members, partner or children? I know how to help! My approach to therapy begins with establishing the therapeutic relationship because I strongly believe it is the foundation to making change in your life. From there, I will integrate person-centered, trauma-informed, and skills-based approaches to help you achieve your goals. I am also trained in EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) to help you heal from difficult experiences in order to reduce symptoms, triggers, and stressors. I have experience working with adults, children, couples, and families and bring a eclectic presence to the therapy room to meet the needs of all my clients.
I specialize in helping adolescents and adults overcome the struggles of eating disorders, anxiety, depression, self-harm, and substance abuse. I help my clients learn concrete coping skills and effective ways to take control of their lives. The constant battle of obsessing over one's weight, the unrelenting state of panic and fear at times for no understood reason, and the feelings of shame and urges to self-destruct, don't have to be a part of your life. I've had the opportunity to successfully help people work through these issues and find peace and healing that they deserve. I love working with people with eating disorders because they are intelligent, kind-hearted, and often don't realize their potential and worth in the world. I understand the strength it takes to make the call to ask for help and the uncertainty that comes with starting the recovery process. After studying eating disorders and women's issues extensively and working for years at The Renfrew Center, a renowned residential eating disorder facility, I joined the Emotional Eating program at Princeton House Women's Programs. We have worked hard to make our practice a place to be brave in telling your story. We listen. We challenge, We curse. We laugh. We cry. We are real. When you sit with your therapist and tell them whats going on - you will be seen, valued and heard. We work with clients who struggle with relationships, the shift to college, becoming an adult, family stuff, neurodivergence, addiction and substance use, struggles with fitting in and making friends, college stress, feelings of grief and loss, anxiety, trauma, identity crisis, struggles around gender and identity, depression…. Basically if you are dealing with it, we can likely help with it. Our therapists strive to be ethical and supportive as they join you in your journey of discovery and healing. Therapy can be a scary thing to start and we want to be there in it with you, every step of the way. Our clinicians are highly educated and continue in training long after graduation in order to bring you the most appropriate and skilled interventions and treatment. We are an affirming and anti-racist practice. We believe in promoting social justice and that all clients deserve a space where they can be authentic and transparent without fearing judgement.
I truly believe that everyone has the capacity to grow when they’re in a space that feels safe and accepting. At the heart of my work is building a genuine, trusting connection with you—because real healing begins when you feel truly seen, heard, understood, and accepted. Together, we’ll create a warm and welcoming space where vulnerability is embraced and self-exploration feels comfortable. Above all, I’m here to hold space for you with kindness and openness, honoring your unique needs, passions, experiences, wisdom, and hopes for the future. Specializations I’m especially passionate about supporting adults who grew up with caregivers who, for various reasons, may not have met their emotional needs.Together, we work to heal from those early experiences, find your true voice, clarify what matters most to you, and create a life that feels authentic, grounded, and free. I work with clients ages 15 and up to navigate challenges related to: Childhood relational trauma, emotionally immature parents, & unmet emotional needs Relationship patterns, boundaries, people-pleasing, & guilt Exploring identity, values, & personal growth Identity diffusion & enmeshment Shame, self-doubt, & indecisiveness Life transitions & emerging adulthood Grief & loss Anxiety, depression, & low self-worth Emotional regulation & distress tolerance Could We be a Good Fit? Clients who tend to do well with me often appreciate a little lightheartedness or humor during our sessions and enjoy putting what we talk about into practice between meetings—sometimes through small homework or weekly goals. Many have found it helpful to bring their creative interests into our work, which helps us build a space where you can feel safe, inspired, and free to be your authentic self. I’ve also noticed that adolescents, young adults, and college students often feel especially comfortable and connected in our time together. Therapeutic Approaches My approach to therapy is primarily rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Together, we’ll explore your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors with curiosity and work toward making the changes you’d like to see in yourself. For those who resonate with this approach, I incorporate Internal Family Systems (IFS) to support compassionate exploration of your inner parts. I also use a person-centered and trauma-informed lens, honoring the impact of your life experiences and creating a space where all parts of you are welcome. While CBT and IFS are my go-to methods, I like to keep things flexible, drawing from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to tailor our work to what feels right for you. My hope is that you find a space in therapy that feels human, welcoming, and uniquely yours. If you think we might be a good fit, I’d love to connect and explore how we can work together in a way that supports your growth. I currently offer teletherapy sessions at River Wards Wellness Collective. Welcoming in creatives, artists, and performers! Currently accepting new clients. Has your creative drive disappeared behind a booming inner critic that’s never satisfied? Ever wondered why you’ve been in therapy for years, but the old problems persist? I specialize in helping creatives like you, with histories of relational or sexual trauma, heal from the inside out; building internal spaces of worthiness that aren’t dependent on external validation to feel whole. I use music, somatic work, and depth psychology to partner with you, going beyond words into the layers of your emotional world. Trauma lives in the body, but so does music. Together, we’ll use the music you love to explore and gently move through the memories, beliefs, and responses keeping you stuck, so you can build a home within. This work is often spiritual, guided by your imagination, embodied awareness, and inner wisdom. We ask: what was wrong with what happened to you? Not, what is wrong with you. My warm, compassionate approach supports reconnection with your authentic self. Please visit my website to book your first appointment or email me with any questions.
