As a therapist, I encourage you to bring the “messiest” parts of yourself into the room during our sessions. I strive to create a safe, yet empowering space for all my clients, especially for those who hold marginalized identities. I let you set the pace of treatment and help you build confidence in your innate abilities to persevere and heal during difficult seasons of life. I also encourage you to provide feedback throughout our time together, so that we can make treatment as impactful and positive as possible. I believe that the most important aspect of our work together involves building a strong therapeutic relationship, so you can also expect a deep interest in you as a person outside of presenting concerns or diagnoses. Feel free to reach out if I sound like a good fit for you and your current needs. Either way, I wish you luck on your healing journey!

The college/university experience is a unique transition point where many individuals face new challenges and often overwhelming situations. In my practice, I provide a collaborative and safe environment, ensuring you are not alone in facing these challenges. Whether you are dealing with emergent anxiety or mood issues, managing complex family dynamics, navigating questions about identity, belonging, or worth, or dealing with the pain of grief, my warm, engaging, and culturally relevant approach works in tandem with psychodynamic and evidence-based strategies to help you to identify tools that allow you to understand and cope with whatever you face. As we work together, I am committed to helping you survive and thrive by helping you know where you currently stand, identify where you desire to go and create actionable steps to get there. I am licensed to conduct telehealth sessions with individuals in Georgia and New York.

Substances have a way of putting us on a merry-go-round that will not stop. Substances help us regulate our mood, push out the uncomfortable, keep us walled off from our surroundings. Something happens in life, and we "want to stop", but do not know how to stop. And, we use again. If you are struggling with substances, unhappy with your life, tired of chasing the next high, ask for help. You can text or call me. Maybe it is time for you to rethink your relationship to substances.

I’m a good fit for students who get trapped in their head—overthinking everything, replaying conversations, second-guessing decisions, or feeling like they can’t relax unless everything is “handled.” You might be high-achieving, but constantly stressed, exhausted, or scared of messing up. Sometimes that turns into procrastination, avoidance, or feeling numb. In therapy, we’ll focus on helping you calm the mental noise, handle stress more effectively, and build confidence in your choices—so school and life don’t feel like a constant emergency.

I work with all that are misunderstood. While my specialty is working with autistics and ADHD, due to misdiagnoses in females, adopted youth, LGTBQIA2S+, and BIPOC, I welcome all so that we can discover an affirmative proper assessment for answers and treatment. I specialize in helping children learn practical methods for managing difficult emotions and difficult situations at school as well as adults in the workplace. I help parents learn research-based parenting that is emotionally safe and improves crisis stabilization at home and school, including throughout the circle of life. I include parents in the process of discovering techniques that actually help children, including improving family function and relationships. In addition, I also support active duty and retired veterans and their families, as well as civilian contractors with PTSD and the difficulties navigating a military lifestyle, as well as transitioning back into a civilian lifestyle. In addition, I also specialize in substance use treatment and parent/family support counseling. I also provide support for those that participate with NY’s self-direction and provide complimentary billing to the participant’s FI without the hassle of self-pay.

Hey, man. Your friends, family, or your partner aren't supposed to be your therapist. You need an outlet where you can be vulnerable, speak freely, and unburden yourself without any fear of backlash that could damage the relationship. You want a return on investment of the time, money, and energy that you put into therapy because that's what matters most. You need a therapist who gets you because you deserve to build a life worth living. This relationship needs to feel right, and you want a therapist who can join you through the truth, tell you like it is, and help you find the best tools for your toolbox. Usually, clients connect with me because of challenges connected to men's issues, grief & loss, emotion regulation, relationship issues, and life transitions through pregnancy and postpartum.

You're entering or exiting college, and life feels like a maze; relationships, family, identity, academics, career... it can be a lot. Maybe you find yourself feeling stuck, overthinking everything, or wondering why you feel disconnected in your relationships. You are not alone. I help young adults drop self-limiting beleifs and find a sense of empowerment in their true selves. Whatever you are struggling with, I offer a space to explore unwanted patterns with curiosity (some humor) and no judgment. I believe the client-therapist relationship is the most important component in healing and I strive to be transparent and affirming. Together we can explore how your past is affecting the way you show up in the world now. We will practice tools, strengthen your self-understanding and create trust in your mind and body. As a creative arts therapist of 9 years, I am trained in traditional talk therapy and evidence based art therapy. It is your choice each session to decide which we use to explore your goals. Change can feel scary, and at the same time, often leads to fulfillment. I invite you to reach out so we chat about what you would like to see improve in your life.

Please feel free to check out my Introduction Video at https://youtu.be/ytYmG-2v4c4 to learn more about me as practitioner and person. Clients often come to therapy, initially, with symptoms of anxiety, significant stress, exhaustion, depression, anger, etc. I am here to listen while the Client talks through current and past issues that have led to the onset of these symptoms. The goal is 1) for me to provide education (about symptoms, causes, coping tools, wellness, communication, etc.), and 2) for the client to discover the answers they have inside of themselves and develop confidence in ones' self. I offer compassion and respect to all clients. Often, my clients are struggling with worries, anxiety and/or low confidence. I provide a space to speak through sensitive topics.

My story starts with losing a delivery job with UPS in my early 20s because I ran over two cones during training. I needed a new direction and found my passion for helping people. I am grateful I ran over those two cones because it changed my career. Now, I have 15 years of experience as a licensed mental health professional and started Cuda Counseling (CC), where I work with an amazing team. We help individuals succeed by dialing down their inner critic and creating an inner ally. I understand that a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation of effective counseling. That's why I strive to create a warm and welcoming environment where you can freely discuss your challenges and wins. My action-oriented approach is designed to help you identify achievable measures of success, empowering you to realize your full potential. Don't hesitate to reach out if you're ready to experience inner freedom by identifying and overcoming challenging thoughts, behaviors, and emotions. Let's connect and start your journey towards more joy, better relationships, and peace. Remember, the first step is often the hardest and most rewarding.

I am here for you, holding space for you, rooting for you, encouraging you, holding you accountable if needed, and empowering you. Do you or your partner have concerns about sexual issues including but not limited to; sexual desire/arousal, interests, orientation, impulsivity, compulsivity, erectile functioning, trouble reaching orgasm, painful intercourse, intimacy issues related to disability or chronic condition, or concerns regarding past unwanted sexual experiences? Providing a safe and validating space for others is a value of mine. This has lead me to pursuing a Doctorate in Psychology and thus far 8 years of experience. Throughout my training and career, I've always gravitated towards the college/graduate school population. I've especially appreciated working with students on relationships, identity, and self-love. Being a South-Asian, I've also enjoyed exploring cultural/ethnic/racial identity with clients. In a therapy session my approach is inviting, warm, curious, and a grounding presence. I strongly believe clients are experts on themselves; hence my approach to therapy is empowering and encouraging clients to lean into experiences to meet their goals. I like to use the metaphor that my clients are in the driver's seat and I'm there to support them as they explore where they want to go. Along with a multicultural lens, some therapeutic orientations I often pull from are CBT, ACT, and IFS. Gift-giving is important in many cultures and hence the gift I want to give clients is hope, validation, and safety. I also strive to plant the seeds of empowerment and self-love in clients and continue to nurture that together throughout our sessions. I encourage clients to try out various exercises/skills in between sessions to continue to meet their goals. Overall I hope a client leaves our sessions feeling supported, heard, and respected.
