With 15 years’ experience as a bilingual Psychotherapist working with very diverse populations from adults to adolescents who experience depression, anxiety, trauma and PTSD I learned that not everyone feels comfortable going to speak to a therapist in a traditional setting like an office. This is why I offer “Walk Talk Therapy” and mobile therapy. I want to eliminate as many barriers as possible for you to get the help you need. Just as we are all encouraged to exercise for our physical health, I believe everyone should connect with a professional therapist to strengthen one’s emotional health. Experience Psychotherapy is a psychotherapy practice grounded in the understanding that working with experience in the present moment is a profoundly powerful building block for promoting personal growth and health. I work with people collaboratively to develop the skills to navigate life and relationships with more confidence and flexibility. College is often a time in life of great growth and transition. This can be exciting, but also stressful and disorienting. Therapy can be a place to organize ourselves in the midst of these stressful periods. Michael can work with plans that have out of network coverage.

We assess each client's environment, family, biological factors, and experiences from childhood to the present day. We consider a strong therapeutic relationship to be the highest indicator of progress in therapy. Being able to be open with one another enhances the therapy process. Without a strong rapport between therapist and client, safety doesn't exist, and barriers to positive change exist. After gathering history and establishing rapport, we then tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs. We provide EMDR (trauma therapy) as well as regular talk psychotherapy.
Welcome! Struggling with relationship issues, substance use, or trauma's impact on your daily life? Feeling overwhelmed by sadness, anxiety, or stress? Many people today find it tough just to manage, let alone understand, their experiences. I help individuals improve their well-being, gain clarity on feelings, and develop effective coping strategies. My focus includes supporting young adults dealing with mood, PTSD, addiction, LGBTQ+ and TGNB experiences, and men’s health challenges. As a therapist and educator at NYU, I specialize in psychodynamic and trauma-informed approaches, blending compassion with humor. Treatment is tailored to meet you where you are and guide you towards where you want to be. Let's collaborate on a journey towards a more resilient, purposeful, and peaceful self. OON.
Psychotherapy serves to help people alleviate suffering and develop the capacity for new, positive experiences. Suffering comes in various forms, including anxiety or fear, depression, family and interpersonal conflict, or poor self esteem. Often we operate based on patterns outside of our awareness that were learned in childhood and may no longer be useful to us as adults. By bringing these patterns into one's awareness, we can work to identify and explore new, desired ways of relating to oneself and one's environment. My approach to treatment is holistic and collaborative, as I tailor my practice according to the wants and needs of each individual. Through empathic listening and supportive feedback, I utilize a strengths-based approach to create a safe environment that encourages the process of both acceptance and change. We will work together to explore and understand individual changes you would like to make in order to reduce suffering, increase insight, and generally improve quality of life. Therapy is a strong investment in self, and I encourage you to contact me with any questions or issues you might like to explore.
I engage with clients relationally to understand how unconscious dynamics impede connection and growth. I work with both individuals and couples seeking to understand their attachment styles, communication patterns, and family dynamics and have specialized experience in working with psychosis, sexual trauma, grief, and aging issues
