Our unique approach uses CBT and Somatic Therapy to address the whole person - mind, body + spirit - which enables us to uncover and update the limiting beliefs and hardwired conditioning that keep you from attaining your most important goals. Why should you choose to work with us? We combine CBT & Somatic therapy so our clients can get to the root cause and heal the whole person We don’t do waitlists, so you can get an appointment quickly We offer online therapy from the convenience of your own home We are goal oriented in our therapy, so you can know you’re on the right path from day one. We Do This By… Differentiating root issues from peripheral Discerning unconscious contributors to the problem Identifying maladaptive strategies and belief systems Harnessing your talents, skills, & abilities as a resource to solving future issues Recommending practical coping skills and alternative perspectives uniquely tailored to you Utilizing experiential exercises along with the body's own innate wisdom to release old patterns and create new neural connections for lasting change.

Leveraging my dual expertise as a Mental Health Counselor & Registered Nurse, I have a holistic approach to therapy + mind-body health. We might be a good match if you're a young adult experiencing relationship or confidence issues that leave you feeling like you're not enough. Maybe you've been told to "stop overthinking", or you're constantly doubting yourself and comparing your accomplishments to everyone around you. Our work together will help you heal from the past, feel more confident, set boundaries, build meaningful relationships & friendships, and become more of the person you truly want to be. I specialize in performance goals (academic or sport), self-esteem & confidence, and ADHD. I offer online therapy for New York state residents. As a modern therapist and registered nurse, my approach is holistic, warm, motivating & collaborative. I go beyond surface-level advice like, "just be yourself" or "don't worry". Together, we'll work to uncover what’s beneath the patterns that are holding you back so that you can move forward in life and achieve your goals. I focus on creating a space where you feel understood, encouraged, and motivated. My hope is that you leave sessions feeling like you're growing, evolving, and becoming your best self.

Psychotherapy can benefit people facing a range of challenges. Currently, I see adults and adolescents struggling with depression, anxiety, relationship or interpersonal difficulties, and sometimes with health/illness issues. I see many people experiencing distress and other symptoms associated with life transitions such as adolescence, marriage, new parenthood or challenges in family planning, divorce, professional or personal role redefinition, retirement, and aging. I provide counseling to individuals and couples struggling with the shifting roles and demands of these complicated times. Therapy is a collaboration. I bring a warm, curious, nonjudgmental nature, an appreciation for individual differences, spontaneity and value of humor. Together, we explore patterns, thoughts, and feelings from the past and present. Clients begin therapy not only with identified concerns but also with resources that can be harnessed for lasting change. I use an active, contemporary approach to psychotherapy. I integrate psychodynamic, relational and cognitive-behavioral models and, where appropriate, health psychology, tailoring my work to each individual and their circumstances. My goal is to help people find relief from their suffering and to discover new ways of experiencing life to its fullest.

Anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma are some of the most challenging issues to live with. In my work with individuals, families, and couples I've had the opportunity to help guide my clients through these struggles and begin experiencing more fulfilling lives. I also have experience working with clients on body-image-related issues and deconstructing the standard idea of beauty. If these issues are relatable to you, please know you are not alone. It is extremely courageous to take this first step to seek help and guidance. As a marriage and family therapist, I believe that relational work can be an incredible way to embark on a healing journey. No one lives on this earth alone, nor should we feel as though we do. Strengthening or rebuilding our relationships, even the one we have with ourselves, can positively impact our lives in incredible ways.

I have experience working with students experiencing burnout, imposter syndrome, and overwhelm in their academic, professional, and personal lives. I enjoy working with students who are self aware and may be intellectualizing their emotions and experiences. Anyone looking to take their healing a step further and deeper into their physical body rather than just the cognitive work is someone I’d be excited to connect with.

I believe in your ability to grow, change, and heal even in incredibly difficult circumstances. I create a supportive and validating environment, while also challenging my clients to consider different perspectives. I bring a trauma informed, strengths-based, and client-centered approach to my work with clients. I specialize in relationships, whether they are romantic, platonic, familial, professional. I also help clients develop better relationships with themselves. I work with clients to establish boundaries, determine priorities, develop greater self compassion, and align their actions with their values. Some sessions may feel free flowing and philosophical–for example, exploring the ethics of non-monogamy, the impact of diagnosis on identity, or the current political climate. Other sessions may feel more goal oriented and structured. I often suggest readings to clients, which we process and unpack in session together. I offer concrete coping skills to manage life's challenges and help clients create sustainable changes. Beginning therapy can be intimidating, so be proud of yourself for even considering it. Feel free to reach out and schedule a free 15 consultation call if you feel ready to begin this process together.

Our talented team of professionals consists of career changer counselors, newly emerging into the profession, and expert counselors, putting their advanced niche training into action. Professionally, we embody a myriad of unique counseling specialties and treatment styles, and personally, each of our therapists embraces their own cultural intersectional identities. Our team encompasses multiple representations of sociocultural groups, and whether you are seeking a therapist who is similar to you, or who is different from you, we are consistent in our compassion, empathy, and communication. We take pride in recognizing and understanding you for yourself, nurturing the therapeutic relationship, and providing service that is above and beyond expectations. What makes our group practice unique is that we are more than just a team of therapists providing services to clients. We are thrilled to provide our team with generous employee wellness benefits, fruitful clinical supervision, evolved multicultural counseling competency support, and unmatched professional growth and development opportunities.

I want to help you improve your life, whatever that might look like for you. My name is Eleanor, and I am a master’s student in the Mental Health Counseling program at Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology of Yeshiva University. I also have a BA in Classical Studies and a minor in Hispanic Studies from the University of Pennsylvania. ‍In session, we will explore your present experiences, reflect on your past, and keep an eye on building the future you desire. Licensed Mental Health Counselor
Queens, NY

Welcome to my practice! My name is Nick and I am a licensed mental health counselor, credentialed alcohol and substance abuse counselor, and board certified telemental health provider. All services are offered online only. Most of our suffering derives from within. Imagine if you talked to a loved one the way you talk to yourself, or if someone spoke to you the way you speak to yourself. It would be unacceptable and it would not be tolerated. Yet we surrender to these thoughts, repeating the same hurtful, debilitating monologue in the echo chamber of our mind. Herein lies the certainty that derives from being on your own, stuck in a position you never reasoned yourself into in the first place. As you develop an awareness of these thoughts that have so greatly affected your life, you’ll learn how to develop a new, more rational narrative based on the values and beliefs that you yourself will create. As your therapist, my job is to navigate this process as you learn to actively change your thoughts, which change your feelings and impact your actions. I am a firm believer in achieving functionality. We want life to work for us, and not against us. Being a flawed, living, breathing human being, I too struggle with this everyday, and I bring that intense desire to make things work in the therapeutic relationship. We work together to solve the ambivalence. It is understandable that when it comes to our motivation to change, we have our ups & downs. I know what it feels like to be stuck. It’s painful, and when you’re in it, you think it will never end. The good news is that it does, and the process of seeing that end can be so much better having someone that understands you by your side, every step of the way. So are you ready to get started?
