I work primarily in the areas of addiction, adoption, trauma, and spiritual needs. As an addiction counselor, I work primarily with young men and women struggling to overcome compulsive use of drugs, alcohol, pornography, and internet usage. This may range from life-destructive addiction to those just beginning to see that their use is bringing things they don't want. As an adoption counselor, I work to help adult adoptees confront the issues that may or may not be stemming from being given up for adoption. And as a trauma therapist, I work with the mind-body connection to help those calm their nervous system, and reclaim a clear mind. Finally, all of my work entails the use of mindfulness, and working with the body's response to the mind. This makes my approach very suitable for those beginning to connect to their own sense of spirituality.

She has a team of therapists on staff whom she supervises and supports as they help you heal. Our primary focus is you--healing. And our approach is holistic. We believe that stress, trauma, anxiety and depression can be best resolved through a body-mind approach. You want to heal, we can help you.

These days, students face difficult decisions and life situations and must navigate complicated futures and relationships. I specialize in working with young people who are struggling with these things and want to find better ways to cope. Frequently, I see students who are good at solving complex problems. On the other side of this advantage, they sometimes suffer from perfectionism, anxiety, depression, or relationship problems. When addressed, these conditions can be alleviated. I provide an easy space to talk together about the things that you're up against -- and you'll not be alone with it. Your/our work in this way will alleviate distress, practically and emotionally. I no longer accept insurance, so our work together is completely private. If any of this resonates, I'd be happy to chat and see what's possible. All best wishes in every arena! Anna
Talking to someone who can and does understand, helps. And it can help even further if your therapist can guide you into deeper understandings of what you are going through and how you are going through it. Some ways of dealing are more optimal than other. My job is to enable you to see the many paths available to you and strengthen your courage to make your best and most conscious choices.
Welcome! I am an LCSW with 29+ years experience specializing in trauma. I have been in private practice for 21 years and I worked in residential treatment and inpatient psychiatric hospitals with adolescents prior to this. I am licensed in CO, WA, OR and NY.

With a master’s degree from Naropa University and over eight years of experience in crisis intervention and trauma work, I blend traditional and innovative therapies to encourage deep healing and personal growth. Hi, I’m Jasmine. I’m a licensed social worker here to help you navigate this season of your life. I enjoy working with young adults as they explore who they are and learn to be the healthiest version of themselves. I know how hard it can be to decide to start therapy. There can be a lot of unanswered questions in the beginning. I get it. Rest assured that we can talk through any questions you may have. In the meantime, know that I am a person centered/relational therapist, which means I value the relationship between client and therapist above all else. I also value the process of change and know that it is necessary for growth…even when it’s hard or scary. I understand that we all learn, grow, and process in our own unique ways. My sessions are flexible to your own personal style of learning and expressing yourself. Want to play a video game together and chat? Feel more comfortable doodling or drawing during your sessions? Want to spend your time journaling before speaking? We can do the things that work best for you! Therapy can be a challenge because LIFE is challenging, but there are steps we can take and skills we can adapt to give us a smoother experience. Let’s navigate these challenges together, set the goals you wish to see in your life, and work towards a fulfilled and happier you! In the meantime, here’s a little something to get to know me better: In my free time, I love trying new Colorado adventures with my husband and sweet pup. I enjoy hiking, camping, snowboarding, and many of the adventures that mountains have to offer! When I am enjoying time at home, I love gardening, food canning/preservation, and woodworking. Not all of my time is spent dreaming about the outdoors though! A lot of the time, you can find me playing video games, watching anime (or any streaming shows really), or sitting down with a nice fiction book. I am just another “social” introvert! The process of learning, change, and new adventures fuel my soul! I can’t wait to get to know what fuels you as well!
Hi! I’m Jeanette. I’m a licensed professional counselor in Colorado with over a decade of experience in the mental health field. Before starting my private practice in 2018 I worked in several different inpatient as well as outpatient settings including inpatient psychiatric units and emergency rooms. I have worked with all ages but I currently focus on working with teens, college students, and younger adults up to age 45 or so. I practice mainly from person-centered standpoints which emphasizes everyone’s innate ability to change and grow. I have worked extensively with survivors of trauma, and am trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I am very passionate about physical activity and the importance of integrating it into everyone’s daily routine. I also emphasize the role of nutrition for mental wellness and am currently receiving additional training in this area. Our brains are a part of our body and any mental health treatment should include significant time to ensure that you are also in good physical health. On the personal side, I am married and have three great kids ranging in age from preschool to high school. Whenever I get a chance, I’m out walking my dogs, Skips and Teegan. I’ve lived in Arvada for the past 15 years and, while I’m not a native, I definitely consider Colorado home.
I believe in empowering my clients to access and to unfold to their own inner wisdom and brilliance. Rather than providing all the answers or solutions, I facilitate a supportive and non-judgmental environment where clients can investigate their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. She also holds an additional master's degree from Naropa University in contemplative psychology. I bring my unique blend of experiences to her work. Among other adventures, I have worked in Zanskar Valley in Ladakh, Northern India and has studied psychology in Nepal, Indian. I have also taught Yoga and Yoga therapy to athletes. I take a trauma informed approach to therapy, combining her training in Somatic Experiencing with other contemplative approaches as well as elements of IFS, Polyvagal, solution focused therapy, and positive psychology. Hi, I'm Dr. Franks! When I see students, I conduct an initial session where I provide a diagnosis (if present) and can recommend and provide medications and/or therapy for treatment. I enjoy working with students because their task to start living on their own and develop their own identity is uniquely challenging and exciting. I can help with the diagnosis and treatment of things like depression, anxiety, OCD, bipolar disorder, psychosis, etc. Symptoms that my patients commonly struggle with include worry, sadness, suicidal thinking, stress, insomnia, and trouble concentrating. I am passionate about working with motivated students to help them thrive during their time in college. I completed my undergraduate education at the University of Denver, earning degrees in Biology, Chemistry, and French. I completed my medical and residency training at the University of Colorado, where I had the privilege of serving as Chief Resident. I have since worked in private practice. I look forward to working with you!
It’s my privilege to listen to your story. In today’s fast-paced world, it’s rare to truly talk, share, and connect without distractions. You might be surprised by how much you can learn about yourself just by hearing your own words during therapy. My approach is all about meeting you where you are, with empathy and compassion. I believe in the power of a genuine, healing relationship that helps you grow and thrive. You are a dynamic, one-of-a-kind individual, and my role is to support you in living authentically as we explore your depth together. I will guide you in cultivating a true relationship with yourself through the art of self-reflection. This is your opportunity to be curious, open, and to let go of any limiting beliefs about who you think you are. If you can’t find the perfect solution to magically feel better, you might as well live with the nagging feeling of failure. Fail Better! You probably never considered that “failing better” could be a remedy—especially for how you're feeling right now. But now that I’ve got your attention, you're in the right place to reconnect with your true potential, which is capable of success beyond what you can imagine right now. Here’s the thing: it’s not failure that’s holding you back; it’s the belief that you need to be perfect or find the perfect solution. Your challenges do not define you. You are the author of your story and I can’t wait to see how it unfolds.
We are starving to discover the truth, to show the world who we really are, and we need to have our truth held with compassion. We all want to experience being fully seen. We want to feel connected to others. Sadly, many of us don’t often experience being seen in a non-judgmental light. My strength as a therapist is in my capacity to recognize your preciousness and your capacity for wholeness, while helping you to align with your truth. I work with individuals, couples, families, children, adolescents, and groups to heal past wounds and evolve out of patterns of self-sabotage. Throughout our work I will support you in cultivating self-compassion, resilience and empowerment. I focus on the impact of trauma, and a variety of disorders including anxiety, depression, insomnia, personality disorders, eating disorders and chronic pain issues. Within a trusting therapeutic relationship, my clients and I co-create a foundation which allows clients to hone into their intuition, improve their relationships, decrease emotional suffering, and increase their overall joy. I use a mindfulness-body-centered approach, integrating many modalities, cultural responsiveness and evidenced-based research.

Everyone reaches a point in life when they need to make a change. Sometimes we feel stuck and need perspective in finding our own strengths and some new resources. I am in this work because I believe in change and that in pain, there is room for growth and reconnection with what feels most important. Finding a way to work through a traumatic experience, a stressful life transition or confronting long-time challenges can be an overwhelming task. I can join you in the effort. In meeting primarily with individuals, I approach this work with honesty, humility and warmth with the broader goal of providing empirically sound, non-judgmental therapeutic support.
