I am a religious trauma therapist in Denver. Recovering from conservative religion can leave you questioning who you are, what you believe, and how to trust yourself. Maybe you're stuck in perfectionism, constantly thinking, “I’m not good enough,” leading you to isolate from others or hold yourself back from your goals. Maybe you have trouble making decisions because you believe you can't trust your instincts. You might not remember a time when things felt different. But you’re ready for relief: a kinder inner voice, more joy, and a deeper connection to your authentic self. You’re ready to feel confident, not because you’re perfect, but because you’re finally free to be you. As an experienced self-worth, anxiety, and trauma therapist, I believe you can untangle the messages from your past that are holding you back. You don’t have to keep making yourself small and you don’t have to do the work alone. Visit my website to schedule a free 15-minute consultation so we can discuss how I can help.

You might feel torn between what you want and what everyone else expects from you. You try to make the right choices, keep the peace, and be there for everyone, yet you are left feeling anxious, guilty, and unsure of your own needs. I work with women who feel stuck in relationships, career decisions, and life transitions, and who want to understand themselves more clearly and set healthier boundaries. My work is grounded in CBT, Mindfulness, EMDR, strengths-based therapy, and Trauma Informed care. I pay close attention to the mind-body connection because it often reveals what words cannot. Our goal is to help you feel more like yourself, more confident in your decisions, and more connected to what you truly want. I show up with honesty, compassion, and a little humor. I will support you, challenge you, and call out the patterns that keep showing up so you can stay focused on what matters to you. Analytical? Confused by others' emotions or responses? Nerdy? Scientific? Intrigued by pop culture? Let me help you find the space to explore your existing thoughts, to deepen your connection to those around you or achieve the goals that have been at arms length. Whether we are talking about severe mental health obstacles, healing traumatic wounds or wanting to fulfill goals, I will guide you through the pathways to healing. I will support you in tapping into your existing power and insight to engage the most fulfilling and meaningful life that you deserve. I am an EMDR therapist who uses an existential and humanistic approach to cultivate healing and growth in my clients lives. I am easy to talk to, nerdy, compassionate and honest. I treat a wide range of individual and relational issues. I enjoy supporting people who love a person who is mentally/physically ill or struggling with substance use. I believe that therapy is not a one-size-fits-all and I meet people where they are at. I believe you already have all the power for change within but struggle to access it as needed. If what I have written resonates, reach out and let me help you find the happiness, success, joy, and healing you’re looking for.

Individualized treatment is based on each client’s personal goals and preferences, level of motivation, co-occurring mental health, medical, and spiritual needs. The residential addiction treatment program consists of men’s and women’s tracks. These tracks conducted separately, with men and women living and receiving treatment in separate facilities. This allows us to address the underlying issues that affect each differently that contribute to the disease of addiction. Mornings focus on group-based cognitive behavioral therapy, leveraging the outdoors as often as possible. Daily hikes along our “12 Step” Trail are normal, while afternoons are set aside for educational offerings. Individually, clients meet weekly with a primary therapist and a case manager. Additional services are available as well, such as specialty groups for 12 Step, Trauma, and Co-Occurring Disorders. Clients diagnosed with mental health disorders, such as anxiety, depression, bipolar, and other trauma-related responses, meet with appropriate staff. Clinical staff work with clients to teach healthy coping skills while the medical team provide medication management.

Often our hurtful experiences are out of our control. You didn’t choose to live with pain. You are tired of feeling alone and misunderstood. The reality is our painful experiences and memories can shape our beliefs and worldviews, creating mistrust, shame, anger, and isolation. Living with chronic pain, illness, trauma, anxiety, and grief – does change us. Even if you don’t feel like it at this very moment, there is part of you that knows they deserve something more, whether it’s self-compassion, self-kindness, healthy connections, pleasure, or the chance to move from coping to thriving. You are ready for something more, I can help. Individuals come to me needing someone relatable, gentle, and affirming- someone who normalizes their experiences and helps them get to the root of their concerns. Sessions together are more just talking but incorporating your mind, body & soul to experience deep healing and re-connected to self. Healing at your pace and comfort. I welcome all humans of different backgrounds, genders, races, and beliefs. My values and approaches are LGBTQIA+ affirming, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive. You don't have to show up how the world thinks you should be -just how you are. You're safe with me.

It's been an endless search for a therapist who really gets you. Someone who can dive into your problems without making you feel you have to compartmentalize important parts of your life. Someone who can be a safe sounding board whatever comes up. I want you to know it's ok to show up however you're feeling that day. It's ok to open up at your own pace. I will be right here beside you as you discover unique pathways towards resilience, fulfillment and fun. I center the needs of non-binary & other LGBTQ people in my practice. I help people navigate: stress management and resilience; emotional impact of chronic illness; family of origin issues; and enhancing fulfillment in all sorts of relationships through increased self-knowledge, communication, and collaboration. I believe therapy is most effective when it is a dynamic, collaborative process that integrates the wisdom of our body, mind and spiritual self. I use various approaches including Brainspotting, Heartmath, and mindfulness-based somatic therapy, that allow us to access the deep healing potential of brain, body and mind. Check out my website for more info.
