Clients who enjoy working with me may be struggling with anxiety, depression, addiction, or adjustment to a new way of life. Transitioning into college requires a lot of people in our modern age, and it can be intimidating and isolating. I provide psychodynamic therapy, CBT, and mindfulness to help people discover their strengths, meaning and purpose, and find life to be therapeutic itself.
Do you feel stuck in life and are unsure how to move forward? Do you feel helpless about your future and where it might lead? Do you stay up at night worrying about friendships, classes, or the life/work balance? Do you sometimes get consumed by feelings of inadequacy, self-doubt, loneliness, depression, or anxiety? If you answered yes to any of these questions then the therapists at Liz Morrison Therapy might be the right fit for you. Therapy can help to challenge and reframe the behaviors and thoughts that keep you stuck and scared. It can also help you to stop comparing yourself to your friends, family, and the people on your social media feed. As your therapist, we would work with you to develop practical skills and strategies for dealing with your stresses, worries, and fears. We offer real-world guidance in making positive changes in your life and remain on your side throughout. When we work together, you get the support and guidance you need to take small, manageable steps toward your goals. Step by step, we’ll come up with a plan to figure out how to build the future of your dreams.
I believe our emotional reactions are rarely random. When stress flares or we feel stuck, it often activates deeper attachment wounds, unmet needs, or patterns shaped by our relationships and systems. In the here & now, I help clients slow down, notice thoughts, emotions, & bodily sensations, exploring what’s truly holding them back. I approach therapy through a systemic, attachment-informed lens, integrating mindfulness & presence to foster self-awareness, self-compassion, & more intentional, authentic ways of relating to yourself & others.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and founder of Niyama Integrative Therapy. I provide trauma-informed therapy for adults navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, and complex relational patterns. Many of the clients I work with are capable and high-functioning on the outside, while internally carrying chronic stress, unresolved trauma, or emotional exhaustion. You may be navigating burnout, relationship strain, identity shifts, or long-standing family dynamics that still shape how you move through the world.

Hi there—I’m Odira, a Licensed Professional Counselor with over a decade of experience guiding students and young adults through life’s twists and turns. I understand how hard it can be to fit therapy into a busy schedule, so I offer sessions only in the evenings and on weekends, whether we meet in person in Abilene, TX, or connect virtually across Texas and Colorado. Many students wrestle with anxiety, depression, stress, grief, and relationship ups and downs. That’s why I blend person-centered, holistic, and eclectic approaches to create a space that’s uniquely yours. You know your story best—I’m here to listen, offer fresh perspectives, and partner with you to build practical tools for navigating transitions, strengthening connections, and fostering growth. Over the years, I’ve led behavioral health teams and delivered therapy in community and clinical settings—experience that’s deepened my understanding of the pressures you face on campus and beyond. My passion is creating a warm, collaborative environment where you can explore your strengths, cultivate resilience, and gain clarity. Ready to get started during those after-work or weekend hours? College life and young adulthood is an exciting AND challenging stage of life! The thrill of independence is countered by the weight of adult responsibilities, the excitement of relationships also comes with challenges, and hopes for the future can be weighed down by current stressors and unresolved issues from the past. I love working with young adults as they navigate new challenges, heal from past wounds, and work towards a meaningful future. I work with clients using traditional talk therapy approaches and a modality called Brainspotting, which incorporates mindfulness, body awareness, and acceptance. Together, these interventions are helpful for a wide range of emotional issues.
Dr. Rademan starts treatment with a thorough and detailed inventory of life experiences that could be contributing to current concerns. She also explores body pain and chronic health concerns as those can be impacted by trauma and emotional wounding. Just like with physical health, mental health can be impacted by earlier 'injuries' that flare up later in life. Many people have been in and out of therapy throughout their life and haven't found sustained relief due to not healing the root issue or concern. At the foundation of treatment, Dr. Rademan utilizes a trauma and cognitive focused framework. Trauma is not only major violence or death, but can also be a loss of a relationship, not getting your needs met when you were a child, or ongoing major stressors. Trauma can be described as anything that significantly changed the way you view yourself or the world.
As a social worker, I believe in the importance of human relationships and in the dignity and worth of the person. I therefore approach every client as an individual and focus on establishing a strong therapeutic alliance. I believe in each person’s ability to grow and change. I believe that we are inherently well intentioned and are simply learning who we are and how we want to show up in this world. I offer an interpersonal style of Cognitive Therapy, combining the belief that it’s the relationship that heals, with an active, educational, and skill based approach. I hope to inspire a fascination with our minds, ultimately supporting clients in developing a strong and healthy sense of self, where you are no longer servants to your “thinking mind” or “conditioned self”, but rather live from the truth of who you are. I believe that the work lies not in getting rid of the unpleasant or uncomfortable thoughts, feelings, and emotions, rather in changing our relationship with them when they arise, based on a more integrated and clear understanding of ourselves. While I was originally trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, most of my clinical experience has been through interpersonal styles of therapy. I believe that the relationship established in a counseling setting is the main priority and factor in the work and growth that is achieved. I therefore aim to foster a relationship with my clients that cultivates authenticity. Through the relationship, grounded in empathy and compassion, I establish a safe and comfortable environment allowing for honest, genuine feedback, ultimately leading to learning and personal growth. I am supportive and directive, while working collaboratively with the client to target issues, minimize symptoms, increase overall wellness, and improve self understanding. Trained in a variety of approaches, I often incorporate many of them in to my treatment based on the individual. My training and experience includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma Focused CBT (TF-CBT), Depression Care Management, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness. These approaches are well suited for the treatment of depression, anxiety, addictions, trauma, stress, low self-esteem, relationship challenges, and phase of life problems, aiming to teach people to allow for what is happening in the moment without the pressure of trying to change it or fix it, which more often creates increased suffering. They teach us that we do not have to act on every thought and feeling that arises, but we can learn to engage in behaviors that are in line with our values. My approach will often include experiential activities, behavioral experiments, skill building, psycho-education and between session practice. I believe that much of the work done in counseling actually happens between sessions and will therefore check in with you from week to week regarding use of skills, observations of self, and insights gained.
