Improving student access to care means improving it securely and for everyone. We’ve gone above and beyond the standard security and accessibility requirements set forth by HIPAA and Section 508.
Expect thoughtful and secure data collection
While our cloud infrastructure is fully compliant with all HIPAA and FERPA mandates, the most secure Protected Health Information (PHI) is the one you never collect. That's why we're thoughtful about the data we ask from you, only requiring the minimum necessary to support students' individual needs. When we do collect PHI, all of it is stored and transmitted securely with multiple layers of encryption using NIST-approved algorithms and advanced key management techniques.
Data safety is our first priority
All aspects of our software development and deployment strategies are implemented with data security as our top priority. Here are just some of the ways we keep you safe:
Lock the bad guys out. Our servers are secured with 24/7 security and surveillance; our cloud infrastructure is secured with multi-factor authentication, intrusion detection, and a full audit trail of activity.
Prevent data loss. Our database servers feature redundancy and managed, automated backups with point-in-time recovery enabling us to recover from unexpected disasters without unnecessary data loss.
We meet or exceed all popular accessibility standards
Improving student access to care means improving it for everyone regardless of ability or device. Our product meets or exceeds the standards set forth by the ADA, Section 508 and WCAG Level AA. This means you can expect features like:
Well formed HTML legible to all major screen readers
High-contrast colors and large, adjustable text
Navigability using only the keyboard
Cross-browser and cross-device compatibility
Our VPAT and WCAG assessments are readily available upon request.
