My name is Stacey (Rodenbaugh) Luczejko and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in PA a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in FL and also a National Certified Counselor (NCC). I hold a Bachelor's (BS) in Psychological and Social Sciences from Pennsylvania State University. I also hold two Master's Degrees from Rider University: a Master's (MA) in Counseling Services and an Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) Master's Degree. I have been counseling for the past 17 years in various capacities ranging from counseling in schools to counseling in the community. My counseling style is eclectic because I utilize many different therapeutic strategies based off of the needs of the individuals I am working with during the session. Some of my counseling theory styles consists of: cognitive, behavioral, person-centered, positive psychology, reality, solution-focused, mindfulness, motivational interviewing and psycho-education components. In other words, I have many ways for helping individuals to deal with their struggles or with whatever is challenging them. My approach focuses on thought processes, behaviors, and action plans. I also find ways to creatively use your interests (such as: music, hobbies, movies, and etc.) in the solution process. Most importantly, during every counseling session I strive for my clients to take away something new or something that can utilize outside of counseling in everyday life.

It will be a blend of discussing stress and learning skills. Don't want to talk? That's cool too- let's learn skills. I use both relational and research informed approaches (meaning research studies have found these therapies help people feel better, so they work!) including Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy skills.
I specialize in the assessment of neurological, developmental and learning challenges. As a neuropsychologist and certified school psychologist, most of my time is spent on neuropsychological evaluations for educational purposes, helping students with developmental delays, learning disabilities, ADHD and brain injuries, including concussions. Clients often say "I wish I had started with you sooner." I specialize in life transitions, anxiety, depression, relationships, and grief and loss. I am informed in several therapeutic modalities and hold a level II certification in Attachment Based Family Therapy. Former college athlete.
My style of therapy is very laid back, as I believe comfort is the most important part of the therapy process. In order to discuss difficult topics or begin to work towards goals, there has to be a strong therapeutic relationship. I begin to build this relationship by getting to know my client's personalities, family structure, work life, friendships, etc. Once I get to know you, I can better understand patterns, coping skills, and/or emotions that may be occurring in response to stressors. I also am very client-centered and will tailor the therapy process around what is best for each client. Everyone is different and that means that therapy will look different for each person.
Are you ready to regain control of your life? Lucky for you, you’re in the right place. It is my goal to push you to your fullest potential, empowering you to be the best version of yourself. Change can be difficult, but also rewarding. During our time together, it is my promise to work just as hard as you - while meeting you where you’re at. I offer a “down to earth” clinical style that provides a safe, supportive and genuine space for you to be your truest self, without the fear of judgment. Whatever the concern, know that I am on your side. As an LPC in the state of PA I have had the opportunity to work with children and adults among a variety of settings over the last 7-8 years, strengthening my skill set to meet your needs. Our first session will be structured toward getting to know one another, while identifying goals and objectives you believe are important for you to target while in therapy. This will later translate into a more specific and individualized treatment plan that will set the tone for future sessions. Though I practice primarily from a Cognitive Behavioral modality, I incorporate Dialectical Behavior Therapy techniques to support the experience of intense emotions among many mood disorders and intrapersonal conflicts. I challenge you to explore strength-based strategies to support independent growth and improved self-esteem. Additional areas incorporated into treatment include: communication skills, mindfulness intervention and strengthened self-awareness. I believe therapy is a space one needs to feel comfortable in, therefore it is my mission to provide that to you. I am here to have real, stress-free conversations, acting as a soundboard and listening to you and your needs. I am here to provide education, support and guidance in an empathic, confidential manner.
