I work with individuals and couples who feel like they want more out of their relationships, career, as a parent, or with their decisions. I help people identify the patterns that they are part of that are not helpful in achieving joy, and I work with them to create different patterns that will lead them to a more fulfilling life.
In our initial sessions, I will encourage you to engage in activities that nurture your emotional, social, spiritual, and environmental well-being. I believe that you are the expert of your own life, and my role is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences freely. Together, we’ll work to uncover your inner strengths and coping strategies, helping you move toward healing, growth, and recovery. My passion for this work stems from a commitment to helping individuals recognize their own potential and navigate life’s challenges with resilience. My goal is to guide you on your journey to a more fulfilling, balanced life.
The stories we believe about ourselves are essential, and yet, they are stories we are often unaware of. You may have decided to seek treatment because you (or someone in your life) noticed something about you or how you live in the world that has been difficult, like feeling disappointed in yourself or others, and this may have impacted things like your schoolwork or your relationships. Whatever the difficulties are, these are themes in your story -- we would work together to make sense of them, and see what we can do about them. The possibilities may include things like psychotherapy (talk therapy) or medications, both of which are treatment options I offer in my psychiatry practice. Because I think it is essential to treat you as a whole person, I am only accepting new patients who are interested in psychotherapy (typically at least weekly), either with me in my practice, or with a therapist with whom I have a working relationship. As a physician (medical doctor) specialized in psychiatry, I draw on years of dedicated training for your treatment; qualifying as a psychiatrist entails, after completion of a bachelor's degree, eight years of full-time medical education, including six years of supervised, direct patient care in a variety of treatment settings. To learn more about my practice or to request a phone call to discuss a consultation visit, please visit my practice website, www.terrafirmapsychiatry.com.

Hi, My name is Elizabeth “Dr. B” Brillon and I am a licenced clinical social worker in the states of PA and VA, I can assure you that therapy with me is never a cliche. I know how easy it is to feel alone and always ask why you. Some days it's easy to feel trapped looking for the fastest escape. At times you want to burst into tears or other times you feel like you're making all the wrong choices. I can understand if you need a break and want to scream. I'm here to help. Let's explore those issues you may be struggling with together and take back control of your life. I have certifications and a license as an addiction counselor. I have extensive training in trauma. I work well with, have over 15 years of experience and specialize in women's issues, anxiety, depression, aging, loss, trauma, personality disorders, LGBT issues, and childhood sexual trauma. I also work well with depression, stress, and trauma-related issues.
I specialize in helping adolescents and adults overcome the struggles of eating disorders, anxiety, depression, self-harm, and substance abuse. I help my clients learn concrete coping skills and effective ways to take control of their lives. The constant battle of obsessing over one's weight, the unrelenting state of panic and fear at times for no understood reason, and the feelings of shame and urges to self-destruct, don't have to be a part of your life. I've had the opportunity to successfully help people work through these issues and find peace and healing that they deserve. I love working with people with eating disorders because they are intelligent, kind-hearted, and often don't realize their potential and worth in the world. I understand the strength it takes to make the call to ask for help and the uncertainty that comes with starting the recovery process. After studying eating disorders and women's issues extensively and working for years at The Renfrew Center, a renowned residential eating disorder facility, I joined the Emotional Eating program at Princeton House Women's Programs. Feel free to learn more about me and my private practice at www.sarahgoldbergellis.com.
