Looking through numerous profiles trying to find the right person to work with? Maybe I can help! College can be hard. I aim to create a supportive space for us to work together to figure out what's getting in the way of allowing you to achieve your goals. Whether that's chatting or skill-building, let's work together to figure out what's most effective for you.
Are you overwhelmed but feel like family and friends don't really understand? Are you exhausted from scrolling through confusing TikTok advice on how your mental health should be? Navigating everyday life while we try to heal from our past and managing our present can feel isolating... and sometimes it’s hard to know where to turn for non-judgmental support. I offer a safe space where together, we can explore and gain insight into your needs and your path to emotional peace. Whether you're struggling with relationships, stress, past trauma, there is hope with finding your sense of balance. I have over 14 years of experience working with survivors of sexual assault, interpersonal violence and other forms of abuse as well as over 3 years experience as a therapist for adolescents and young adults. I am currently a licensed social worker/therapist in PA. As a safe, compassionate, intuitive and non-judgmental therapist, I am here to support you.
I thoroughly enjoy working young adult clients. This stage of life is filled with change, exploration of self, and forging of independence -- this can also mean that it's not always easy to ask for help, and a degree of hesitancy exists to allow even the most loving family members and friends into their worlds. I regularly work with clients that are struggling with major life transitions, depression, anxiety, or eating disorders. My clients are often seeking safety, understanding, and freedom from their negative thoughts. The foundation of my approach is person-centered and humanistic. I believe in the healing nature of the therapeutic relationship and a non-judgmental space to process life experiences.
