You may be a deep thinker/artist type who goes really deep into what matters to you. Maybe you struggle with self acceptance. You might be seeking a sense of purpose. What if you could feel better about yourself? What if your anxiety or depression started to lift and you felt some relief? What if you felt connected to your creativity and/or your sense of purpose? Imagine if you had someone in your corner to really hear your story and provide support. I provide a safe space to explore what matters to you. I routinely hear from clients that therapy with me has been instrumental in helping them to heal and start feeling like themselves again. I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and young adults. The patients I see often come to me with issues such as anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, self harm and childhood trauma. I utilize play therapy techniques for my younger patients, as well as integrating components of art and talk therapy. For adolescents and adults, I use a mixed array of techniques including Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy, and Person Centered. I have a Golden Retriever, Loki, who loves to be an added support as well! I feel that it is necessary to find a great match when seeking out a therapist. It is important for the individual to feel comfortable, as therapy can be an extremely vulnerable time. I believe that building a genuine relationship is necessary for any "good work" to be done. Therapy is a joint effort, as a therapist, I believe that we are working as a team
My goal for therapy is to work towards helping my clients find the strength and resilience needed to get through what life brings to the table. I am a certified EMDR therapist, though I use multiple therapeutic approaches with each client and tailor therapy to each individual's needs. I take great pride in building a strong therapeutic relationship with the clients I see, as I believe that is the foundation of therapy! I have experience working with adolescents, young adults, adults, and families as a whole. I love watching people grow throughout the therapeutic process, whether that entails mending strained relationships, working through trauma(s), embarking on a new journey, or finding personal strength. My passion to help others is what motivates me daily. It may be nerve wracking, overwhelming, and/or slightly uncomfortable, but just know that I am here to help, however I can. It can seem like a challenge to find a good therapist, but it is absolutely worth it to push forward until you find the best fit for you. I am licensed in New York, Colorado, Nevada, Florida, and South Carolina. Please note: I am not paneled with any insurance companies in Colorado, Florida, Nevada, or South Carolina.

As a clinical psychologist, I assist clients to address issues that are difficult to confront alone. I encourage self-reflection, help clients gain a clearer understanding of their life experiences and bring awareness to patterns of relating that are interfering with living a satisfying life. My orientation is primarily psychodynamic; it promotes self-exploration and gaining insight, along with productive behavior change. I take an active and engaged role with my clients by asking questions and offering ideas. I approach therapy as a collaborative process with the intention of reducing suffering, increasing self-understanding, and cultivating deeper and more compassionate relationships. I specialize in addressing chronic trauma, depression, anxiety, life transitions, loss, and relationship difficulties.
