“I just want to feel happy.” Or “why are relationships so hard for me?” Or maybe, “I wish I didn’t worry ALL the time.” If these lines have run through your mind, you’re not alone. And you’ve come to the right place! My style is warm, genuine, and practical. I use humor and honesty to create a safe, non-judgmental environment where you can be your true, authentic self. I believe the key to progress in therapy is developing insight into patterns (relationships, behaviors, and thoughts), while learning concrete skills to make real tangible changes in the here and now. Taking the leap into therapy can be daunting and it’s important to find someone you feel comfortable with. I encourage you to take the first step and schedule a free 15 min consultation to discuss your goals and how I can help you reach them. I look forward to getting to know you!

I believe therapy means making you feel deeply known and accepted, and by creating a warm and secure bond opens the space for long-lasting, personal growth. I appreciate how some old habits you have picked up at an earlier point may no longer serve you now. The process of understanding yourself with compassion and learning new ways of being in the world isn't always easy, but I'll be with you every step of the way. Together we can find and solve the "stuck points" holding you back from living a full and meaningful life. I work with individual adults focusing on mood and personality issues. As your therapist, my goal is to help you live up to the best version of yourself. My approach centers on harnessing your unique strengths in building the bridge between where you are and where you want to be. I take an integrative approach that reflects my dual training in transference-based theory such as Schema and evidence-based theory such as CBT. Thus, my treatment balances the exploration of experiential life with actionable change.

My ideal client is someone navigating a significant life transition—whether it’s entering a new phase of life, adjusting to a career shift, or healing after the end of a relationship, or starting a new one. They may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or disconnected from themselves and others. They often appear high-functioning on the outside but internally struggle with self-doubt, perfectionism, or emotional exhaustion. Their needs often include learning how to manage stress, set healthy boundaries, improve emotional regulation, and strengthen relationships. I have 13 years of experience and am licensed in three states. My approach to therapy is rooted in compassion, presence, and collaboration. I draw primarily from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness-based practices to help clients build psychological flexibility, develop deeper self-awareness, and move toward a more values-driven life. I believe that healing begins in the context of a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship. I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported. Therapy is a shared process, and I deeply respect the courage it takes to show up and be vulnerable. My role is to walk alongside you, offering guidance and insight.

Hi :) Congratulations on taking the first steps in looking into therapy! Everyone goes through hard times and mental health is important. I am a dedicated Graduate Social Work Student at Binghamton University, building on the strong foundation I established during my undergraduate studies in Social Work at SUNY Plattsburgh. My professional journey has equipped me with valuable experience in supporting individuals who identify as neurodivergent, LGBTQ+, and those struggling with substance use disorders. I am well-versed in therapeutic techniques such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing, and I adopt a collaborative, team-oriented approach to help clients achieve their personal goals. My passion lies in addressing complex trauma and personality disorders, areas in which I am deeply committed to making a meaningful impact. Looking ahead, I aspire to open a practice dedicated to serving clients with intricate and challenging cases. My mission is to ensure that everyone I work with understands that they are not alone, and that effective help and support are always available. I aim to provide a judgment free space where you can express yourself and process both the good things and the challenges in life. I look forward to working with you! I offer compassionate and transformative psychotherapy to individuals 18+ throughout the lifespan, drawing upon both traditional and innovative tools to provide highly individualized and attuned support. I have expertise working with anxiety (including social anxiety), life transitions, grief, trauma, work-related stress, family conflicts, and relationship issues. I also work frequently with spirituality and religion, multicultural issues, adjustment disorder, and concerns relating to college students and recent graduates. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with nearly 15 years of professional experience. I received my undergraduate degree at the University of Pennsylvania, majoring in Religious Studies and graduating Cum Laude. I received my Master in Social Work degree at NYU. I have a certificate in Relational Psychotherapy and utilize mindfulness-based tools like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. In addition, I have trained in IFS (Internal Family Systems) level 1 and the beginning and intermediate levels of Somatic Experiencing (a body-based approach), innovative therapeutic tools that I incorporate into my work. If a client already working with a primary therapist wishes to pursue an adjunct treatment focusing specifically on SE or IFS, I can design a therapy program to support these goals. I also provide adjunct therapy specifically targeting social anxiety. Before transitioning to private practice, I was a staff therapist at Columbia University Counseling and Psychological Services for eight years. I have extensive experience offering psychotherapy to adults of all ages, leading groups focused on creating connections and managing anxiety, and presenting virtual and in-person workshops to large audiences in professional and educational contexts. At this time, I see clients via telehealth throughout New York State and do not offer in-person sessions. Please feel free to reach out to me to discuss how I may support you.

I grew up in a Chinese/Fujianese immigrant family and deeply understand the impact of generational trauma and cultural identity struggles that first generation individuals may experience. I am the first person in my family to have attended college and go on to get a master's degree in social work. Throughout my 7 years in the field, I have worked with a wide range of individuals dealing with conflicts in the areas of work, relationship, friendship, family, and self-esteem. I offer a compassionate, strengths-based approach that meets you where you are. Together, we will build trust and explore your unique story, helping you process difficult emotions and develop practical skills to manage stress and move forward with hope and resilience.

Hi! Are you struggling with your mental health, identity, or relationships? College can be an overwhelming time – whether you’re adjusting to the coursework and living on your own, having challenges with friends or partners, or exploring who you are and who want to be. Therapy can serve as a tool to help you gain insight on your experiences, understand what you need, and learn strategies to manage your daily life. I’m a psychologist with 5+ years of experience in college counseling prior to starting my own practice. I have worked with students with a variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, OCD, sexual and relationship-based trauma, as well as those who are exploring their sexuality and/or gender identity. I welcome clients of all cultural backgrounds and provide LGBTQ+ affirming therapy. Fee free to reach out for a free 15-20 minute phone consultation to discuss what you're looking for and see if I might be a good therapist for you!

You deserve a therapist who understands your life in all its complexity. My clients are individuals and couples working through anxiety, depression, grief, identity questions, and strain in their relationships. Many have struggled to find a therapist who can help them feel comfortable exploring more challenging parts of their lives. A lot of my work is with men who learned early that self-reliance was supposed to be enough. I also specialize in working with LGBTQ+ clients and with people exploring nonmonogamy and kink. I want that to be a place of affirmation, not something you have to explain or defend. My approach is grounded in Internal Family Systems. I'm a Certified IFS therapist and have served as a teaching assistant for the IFS Institute. IFS meets the parts of you that feel stuck with curiosity instead of judgment. I also draw on CBT, psychodynamic, and relational work. Before this, I spent a decade in business, government, and nonprofits. That background gives me a feel for the real-world pressures people carry into the room. Reaching out is often the hardest part. Whether you're feeling stuck or just ready to understand yourself better, I'd be glad to talk. I see clients virtually across New York, New Jersey, and Colorado, and I offer a free 15-minute consultation.

I work best with searchers–open-minded, curious seekers looking to explore a path toward greater self-commitment and embodied self-awareness, so they might more easily move. The work I love to offer intends to sharpen your inner clarity, so that you may answer questions for yourself that might have once appeared unanswerable on your own. I’m passionate about working with trauma, relationship, and multicultural issues, and supporting clients in boundaries, increasing their self-esteem, and finding a strong sense of resourcing within themselves.
