On the outside, it might look like you have everything together. You’re responsible, thoughtful, and trying your best to move forward in life. But inside, you may feel overwhelmed, stuck, or constantly second-guessing yourself. Maybe anxiety, overthinking, or self-criticism make it hard to trust your decisions. Many of my clients feel pressure to figure out their careers, relationships, and identity all at once. You may feel lost, burned out, or unsure of your next step, but you’re ready to understand yourself better and start building a life that actually feels right for you. I offer a warm but direct approach that blends CBT and DBT tools to help you manage anxiety, build confidence, and break unhelpful patterns. Therapy with me isn’t just about talking — it’s about learning practical skills to regulate emotions, challenge self-criticism, set boundaries, and move forward with clarity. Starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially if you're used to handling everything on your own. My goal is to create a supportive space where you can talk openly, explore what’s holding you back, and begin making meaningful changes. If you're ready to feel more grounded and confident in your life, I’d be happy to connect.
I am looking for people who are looking for change (some change takes 2). I have some insight into the college experience and am able to connect with students pursuing diverse interests: I have graduate degrees in literature, business administration, and social work. My eclectic professional and cultural background helps me build rapport and join with people from all walks of life, young and old. My bilingual upbringing and life experience allows me to practice psychotherapy in Russian with native Russian speakers.
Self-betterment is an investment that is aligned with self-love and positive reinforcement. Identifying the underlying issues is imperative to manage and increase your resilience against daily stressors effectively. My ultimate goal is to build a trusting client-therapist relationship that will promote change and positive psychotherapy outcomes. I am a licensed clinical social worker with 16 years of experience in providing psychotherapy for children, adolescents, adults, and families, treating life stressors such as, but not limited to, anxiety, behavioral problems, depression, and trauma. I truly believe in these words: “Walk with the wise and become wise.” Are you experiencing depression, feeling overwhelmed, and having difficulty adjusting? It is time to make a change! As seasons change, so do we. Even at our lowest point, we can find the harvest using the right lens. Let me support you in regaining your ability to be productive and reach your optimal self.
Are you overwhelmed with feeling anxious or sad? Having trouble adjusting to recent changes in your life? You’re in the right place. I help college students and young adults dealing with anxiety, depression and life changes to feel more at peace, less worried, and more confident. Your experiences and story matter and I am here to listen. My job is to help you to help yourself. I will help you to explore your own strengths and struggles in a safe, nonjudgmental space. My goal is to be transparent, supportive, and informative while being culturally sensitive and LGBTIA+ affirming. I hold sessions Monday-Thursday, 9am-5pm. During the first several sessions, I will help you to identify your goals while reflecting on your personal strengths that have helped you to get you to today. I want you to remember that you have survived every day before this one and that you are resilient. We work towards your goals with a speed that is comfortable for you, checking in on your progress throughout. I incorporate aspects of mindfulness to help you to cope and to heal while providing psychoeducation to help you to better understand your emotions and to gain insight into your experiences. I often give ‘homework’ to help to build new coping skills and to improve communication styles. Everything we will work on will be together, so I will always be transparent and you will always have a voice.
I am a licensed clinical social worker providing trauma-informed counseling rooted in queer liberation and trans joy. I apply my training in EMDR, embodiment, and somatics, as well as my own experience in a queer body, to support people in generating the autonomy and empowerment necessary to navigate significant life transitions with choice. I would be happy to talk with you about how we can work together to support you in feeling grounded, calm, and secure, about building your access to joy, supporting your commitment to activism, and navigating the ongoing stressors of the world at this time.
Have trained at college counseling centers, I often work well with students who feel caught between different expectations—school, family, relationships, culture, identity, or future plans. You may be LGBTQ+, international, first-generation, or simply feeling stressed and unsure where you fit. Therapy can help you feel less alone, understand yourself more clearly, and make choices that feel more like your own.
You don’t have to figure it all out alone. 💛 College can be exciting, but it can also come with anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, family pressure, loneliness, academic burnout, and the feeling that everyone else has it together except you. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and trauma-informed therapist, I provide a supportive, judgment-free space where you can slow down, talk things through, understand yourself better, and build tools that actually work for you. 🌿 You deserve support, not just when things fall apart, but while you’re learning who you are. Hi, I’m a Columbia University–trained clinician with 20 years of experience working with college learners in a range of roles—including psychotherapist, clinical supervisor, and professor. I specialize in supporting young adults navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, identity development, and even high-performance areas like academics and sports. I bring both clinical depth and real-world understanding to the therapy room—and what makes me a little different is that I genuinely get the college experience. I’ve spent my career in it, and I know how to blend evidence-based strategies with humor, warmth, and a nonjudgmental presence that helps clients feel both seen and empowered.
I am a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in evidence-based treatment for anxiety, OCD-related concerns, phobias, and sleep difficulties Over the past several years, I have noticed that many college students struggle academically due to undiagnosed ADHD, executive functioning challenges, and attention-related concerns that may go overlooked. In response to this need, I have added comprehensive and affordable ADHD diagnostic testing to my practice to help students better understand their difficulties, access appropriate treatment recommendations, and obtain accommodations when clinically indicated for academic settings and standardized testing. In addition to ADHD testing, I frequently work with students experiencing anxiety, obsessive thinking, perfectionism, panic, OCD symptoms, sleep disruption, and stress related to academic performance and life transitions.
I am passionate about helping people discover their inner strength and resilience. With a master's in social work from New York University and as licensed social worker since 2005, I've had the privilege of supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds in various settings, including non-profits, LGBT organizations, and schools. My therapeutic approach blends a strengths-based and psychodynamic perspective with cognitive-behavioral techniques allowing me to tailor our sessions to your unique needs and aspirations. Whether you're facing challenges, fraught relationships, seeking personal growth, or simply navigating life's transitions, my goal is to provide a supportive space where you can explore, learn, and thrive. Together, we'll work towards cultivating a sense of ease and confidence as you're on your path forward. I'm here to support you every step of the way.
College is supposed to be one of the best times of your life, so why does it sometimes feel like the hardest? Maybe you're juggling more than you ever have before - classes, deadlines, relationships, and the pressure to perform academically while somehow also figuring out who you are and where you belong. Maybe the adjustment to college life has been harder than you expected - the homesickness, the new environment, the feeling that everyone else seems to be thriving while you're just trying to keep your head above water. Maybe anxiety has become your constant companion, or stress has made it hard to enjoy the things you used to love. Maybe you're asking bigger questions too - who am I, really? What do I actually want? Where am I headed? - and the pressure to have it all figured out feels overwhelming. Or maybe nothing dramatic has happened, and that almost makes it harder to explain. You just know something feels off, and you're not quite sure where to turn. Here's what I want you to know: you don't have to have it all together to reach out. You don't need a crisis to deserve support. College is one of the most profound transitions of your life - a time of incredible growth, but also real uncertainty, loneliness, and pressure that often goes unseen. I offer warm, collaborative, judgment-free therapy for college students navigating exactly this. Together we can work through anxiety and stress, explore who you are and who you want to become, and help you find your footing - so you can actually show up for your life, not just get through it. You deserve a space that's entirely yours - and finding the right therapist should feel like a good fit, not another stressor. That's why I offer a free 15-minute consultation - no pressure, no commitment - just a chance to chat, ask questions, and see if this feels right for you. Think of it as a low-stakes first step toward feeling more like yourself again. I'd be honored to be that space. Please reach out anytime. I'm here whenever you're ready.
College can feel like a constant balancing act between expectations, relationships, and the pressure to have it all figured out. I specialize in working with high-achieving individuals who look successful on the outside but privately struggle with anxiety, perfectionism, and self-doubt. Many of my clients are insightful and self-aware–they know why they feel the way they do, but that insight alone hasn’t been enough to shift how they feel. My approach focuses on helping you reconnect with your emotional experiences as valuable sources of information, not something to fix or avoid. Together, we’ll explore what’s beneath the overthinking so you can feel more grounded, confident, and emotionally resilient. Clients describe me as warm, thoughtful, and collaborative. I create a space where you can feel both deeply supported and gently challenged. If this resonates, I’d love to connect for a free consultation.
