Our practice specializes in treating eating disorders in young adults, offering a compassionate and evidence-based approach rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). We provide individualized care for clients struggling with anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, and other disordered eating behaviors. We also work with Anxiety and Mood disorders. Clients learn to identify and challenge distorted thoughts around food, body image or other presenting stressors. DBT techniques are used to build emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness. The integrative approach supports young adults in developing healthier coping strategies, improving self-esteem, and fostering lasting recovery in a supportive and nonjudgmental environment.

I come with passions for working with the neurodivergent population (specifically with ADHD and Autism and unpacking a late realization), providing gender-affirming care, sex-positive counseling, disordered eating, and body image, managing and processing chronic illness, and identity work through a trauma-informed and all-inclusive perspective. As a queer, neurodiverse counselor, my experience has offered me perspectives from within the community and has given me a passion for advocacy, connection, and collaboration. While I come with passion in these areas, my work goes beyond these areas. I believe that every individual and their needs deserve space in the therapeutic setting and it is my goal to create a space.
This is your journey and I am here to support you. My therapeutic approach is trauma informed and my clinical work is a balance of direct confrontation of the challenges in your life, while ensuring we take things one-step at a time to maximize success. Together, we will take a collaborative and problem-solving approach to reach your goals. I have a particular interest in working with individuals facing major life transitions such as life during and after college, postpartum challenges for all caregivers, as well as supporting aging families. I am skilled at working individuals with ADHD, executive functioning deficits, and ASD. I welcome all individuals to my practice. This is a safe space for the LGBTQ+ community, BIPOC, individuals of all body types, religion, and reproductive healthcare. The most important thing is that you feel safe and understood.

Let’s be real. Life is hard. It is messy and crazy and sometimes, it just feels out of control. Your space is a mess, your roommates are on your last nerve, you have a major assignment to work on, and you just cannot get a moment to think straight. Then there’s that thought in the background that you’re not doing enough, that you’re not enough. You’re questioning yourself and feeling overwhelmed. College is hard. This phase of life is hard. Feeling the pressure to succeed can feel unbearable. This is where therapy comes in. To learn how to address these thoughts & emotions in a safe space and develop a plan of action to move forward, feeling confident in yourself.
As humans we all have experiences of feeling stuck, or overwhelmed with life, or even having a loss of direction. This is completely normal, especially in our college years. The good news is, there are some really helpful tools you can learn to navigate through these challenging times, and really discover yourself! You already have the tools within you, my role is to show you how to access them in order to move forward in your life feeling confident and in alignment with your authentic self.
Many students I work with are navigating big changes, whether it’s adjusting to college life, managing anxiety or OCD, or trying to find balance in relationships and daily routines. You might feel stuck in cycles of overthinking, self-doubt, or worry about not having things “figured out.” In our work together, we’ll create a supportive space to better understand your story, identify what’s been keeping you stuck, and build tools that bring more clarity, confidence, and calm to your daily life. Starting therapy can feel intimidating, and that’s okay. I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation so you can ask questions, share what you’re looking for, and get a sense of whether we’d be a good fit. When you’re ready, I’d be happy to connect and explore how I can best support you.

Welcome! My work focuses on helping you overcome beliefs and self-sabotaging behaviors that stem from difficult relationships and experiences throughout life. I recognize that our "bad" choices often arise from issues with our sense of self and self-worth, which we will explore and understand in our work together. My approach to therapy encourages you to embrace the freedom to be yourself, letting go of who or what you “should” be. I offer a warm and non-judgmental environment where you will feel heard and respected. I never tell you what to do because I trust that you know -- you just need to parse through some of the noise to get there.
