Accepting New Clients! Congratulations on taking the first step in choosing a therapist. Do you need someone to listen without judgment? A safe place to share your thoughts and feelings and to get out of that "stuck space" by considering solutions to improve your overall wellbeing? I would enjoy beginning this journey with you by establishing a warm, supportive, and trusting relationship through open and non-judgmental communication. At heart, I am a helper, encourager, and challenger who believes in people. My theoretical approach involves integrating Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior-Informed Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy to explore thoughts, feelings and behaviors. Working together you will increase knowledge and awareness and create action steps that may help ease stress and anxiety, navigate life transitions, and work through school, career, and relationship concerns. Our work together will always support my belief in the strengths of the client and the value of your role in the therapeutic process. In sessions, you can expect a compassionate, direct, and collaborative approach. Feel free to reach out with questions about counseling in general or next steps to get started. Best wishes on your wellness journey!
Hi, I am Caleigh Koppelmann, therapist here in Bluesky. As a trauma-informed Marriage and Family Therapist, I work collaboratively with adult clients to help them explore the patterns, relationships, and experiences that shape their lives. I believe healing happens not just at the individual level, but within the broader context of our families, communities, and cultural identities. My approach integrates warmth, curiosity, and deep respect for each client’s unique story, while honoring resilience, growth, and the many paths toward healing.
Brooke is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (North Carolina) and Licensed Professional Counselor (South Carolina) based out of Charlotte, NC. She works with women in their young adult years or 30's. Many of Brooke's client's come in feeling depressed, anxious and overwhelmed. It is not uncommon for one of Brooke's clients to say they feel like something is off because of a reaction they are having to a recent loss or past trauma. Brooke's goal is that everyone leaves feeling seen, heard and like their experiences and reactions to life events make a little more sense. She believes that everyone has a valuable story to tell and considers it a joy and privilege to hear that story and identify the themes and effects the story has on the client's life. While she works with people of all faith backgrounds, Brooke was trained in Christian counseling and offers integration of faith into counseling upon request. Her goal in working with clients is to help them better understand how their brain and body are connected and to empower clients to live in a way that aligns with their values. Clients who have worked with Brooke often feel supported and seen. She tries to come alongside and be a healing presence in the midst of great suffering. Brooke believes that the best therapists have been in therapy themselves and understands how much courage it takes to reach out for help. She strives to be empathetic and gives space for clients to reach the goals they set out to accomplish over the course of therapy. In her free time, Brooke enjoys spending time in nature, watching Chicago Cubs and Bears, listening to a good audiobook or podcast, watching French TV shows and traveling.
If you are having trouble fitting in or confirming to expectations, but still crave a sense of belonging, this is where we can sort it out with warm affirming care. I have 16 years of experience supporting marginalized individuals to learn effective self advocacy techniques and feel comfortable and safe in their current life. All while remaining hopeful about the future! Maybe you are an older person who is adjusting to a life that is different than what you are used to, or a neuro-divergent individual that is stressed out about social expectations, or a LGBTQ+ person looking for support to live as your authentic self. Sometimes our biggest road block to feeling content is ourselves. The way we think about our trauma, and treat our bodies are the first two areas I will explore with you. We will make a plan to be well everyday while you navigate relationships with peers, partners, family and caregivers. We will practice coping strategies to manage overwhelming expectations and most importantly strive for self acceptance.
I believe in healing through corrective experiences. It is possible to heal from trauma & anxiety, rather than just learning coping with it! I prefer to use methods that are designed to alleviate the distress associated with painful memories. This includes Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) and other Experiential Therapy modalities that are proven to be equally as effective in a virtual setting.

Do you feel like you are strapped on a roller coaster of anxiety and depression and can't get off the ride? We can feel out of control because of life changes, relationships, and significant events. We can become stuck in our own unhealthy thoughts, emotions, actions, and responses. Sometimes we hyper-focus on relationships and fixing other people. Or we may develop unhealthy patterns when using things outside of ourselves to experience immediate relief and help us cope. This may include alcohol, marijuana, pills, food, porn, exercise, gaming, social media, shopping, and gambling. You need somewhere safe to talk about the hard stuff. Every person has difficulties that feel overwhelming at some point in their lives. Being willing to ask for assistance is a courageous gift to yourself. I find it gratifying to help people struggling with anxiety and depression related to challenges in life and relationships. You are worth your own effort in becoming a healthier version of yourself! I look forward to being a part of the journey!

There may be points in our lives where circumstances, relationships or life events are impacting our well-being. My goal is to be a collaborative partner and a support as we navigate through the process of self-discovery, recovery and healing. It takes courage to take the first step and I want to respect and honor the vulnerability that comes with the process. However, there is hope and each client brings their inherent strengths and experience to the process. I work with various therapeutic modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), DBT, and Prolonged Exposure (PE). I also use other evidenced-based interventions including Motivational Interviewing (MI), somatic and mindfulness-based practices to best address the needs of each client. I am passionate about working with clients experiencing life transitions, depression, communication challenges, relationships issues, anxiety, trauma-related symptoms, family issues, peer relationships, social connection, and young adult issues. I value working with students and enjoy helping others navigate what can be a challenging stage in life. Your journey is meaningful, and I am excited to share the process of discovery and growth with you and be a support by offering tools and skills to help you navigate through to reach your goals. I invite you to contact me today.

Are you doing your best, yet life keeps demanding more? Maybe you’re facing change, feeling disconnected in your relationships, or struggling with anxiety or depression that makes everything harder. Are you tired of overthinking, holding it all together, and still feeling stuck? Do you want to feel steady again, to trust yourself, find balance, and breathe a little easier? You don’t have to do this alone. Therapy with me isn’t stiff or clinical; it’s a space to be real, reflect, and respond to life with confidence and self-compassion. I believe therapy should feel human and supportive. Growth happens when you feel safe enough to be yourself, not judged or pressured. My role is to create a space where you can slow down, breathe and explore what’s happening beneath the surface. Therapy is collaborative: you bring your story, strengths and insight; I bring tools, perspective, and compassion. Healing isn’t about “fixing” yourself; it’s about understanding yourself with kindness and curiosity. From that place, real change becomes possible. Together, we’ll work toward greater balance, peace, and connection with yourself and with the people who matter most. If you’re ready to reach out, I’d be honored to support you through whatever you’re facing.
