Whatever the circumstance, I am here to be your teammate in the healing process. I incorporate cultural humility into my practice, including providing LGBTQ and neurodivergent affirming care. In my practice, I value transparency in the therapeutic relationship and aim to create a space where clients can show up as their authentic selves. My approach is holistic, strengths-based and person-centered. I use a combination of attachment-based, narrative and cognitive behavioral approaches to tailor services to the person sitting in front of me. Finding the right therapist is often a frustrating process. I'm passionate about working with college students who are finding life to be overwhelming and exhausting. Maybe you're heartbroken over loss, burdened with guilt, feeling you'll never be good enough, are scared, or at wits' end. Or maybe something happened to you, and it sticks with you giving you no rest. When we feel this way, we tend to isolate, berate ourselves, and spiral in our thinking or distract ourselves from these debilitating feelings. You're not alone. These feelings and responses are common, and there are evidence-based treatments to help you make sense of your concerns, take good care of yourself, and take your next steps. My main approach is cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) while also building a warm, therapeutic relationship. I'm also trained in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) for trauma. That said, therapy is collaborative. You are the expert on yourself, and I will work with you to find the approach that best suits you. My goal is to help you not only feel better but to grow in ways that make a healthier life both possible and sustainable. Many people feel hesitant about starting therapy. Growth can be a challenging road—I hope to meet you on that road, and help with your journey.
