I truly enjoy working collaboratively with patients seeking help to gain insight, make changes in how they cope with stress and emotions, alter stuck patterns in their lives, and learn new, more effective ways to relate interpersonally. I would love to meet you and see if we can connect to improve whatever has been causing you pain or struggle. You may be dealing with everyday stresses of college life and demands, adjustment to a new college environment, complicated or traumatic family history, or trying to achieve relief or remain stable with significant diagnoses such as PTSD, depression, anxiety, mild to moderate eating disorders, and emotional intensity. I have extensive experience treating survivors of trauma. These experiences can lead to an array of difficulties including PTSD, dissociation, anxiety, depression, and emotional dysregulation. I am experienced at working with any of these problems/diagnoses and more. I work with each person individually to identify treatment goals and decide what approach might be the best fit. I tend to integrate treatment models in my thinking and practice, with intensive training completed in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and advanced training in psychodynamic treatment. My style is warm and non-judgmental, sensitive, deeply caring, and very appreciative of humor and creativity- these are incredible human resources. I look forward to meeting you and hope we can forge an important supportive relationship that also provides change and promotes growth in these pivotal years.

When everything feels like too much, therapy shouldn’t add to the pressure. I'm a liberatory therapist working with kids and adults facing life transitions and overwhelm. I don’t believe in forcing people to fit systems that weren’t built for them. Instead, I center you—your needs, your truth, and your pace. Using humanistic and cognitive approaches, I offer a grounded space where we can explore what’s hard, celebrate your strengths, and move toward a more authentic sense of self. With compassion, humor, and curiosity, we’ll challenge the stories that are holding you back—and build new ones that feel like yours.
In my counseling work I provide psychotherapy for children, adolescents, adults, couples, families and groups. My clients include people struggling with PTSD, depression, anxiety, and eating disorders. My relational and existential approach helps me understand and connect with my clients. I believe that the intent of therapy is exchanging "symptoms" for "coping skills." To accomplish this transformation, we need to understand our past to shed light on who we are in the present, where we have the power to focus on present issues and make changes that will influence our future. I see psychotherapy as a learning process. I bring my knowledge and understanding of psychological phenomena to bear on my client's life experiences. Psychotherapy is not an easy process, but I work to meet you, the client, where you are and to create safe space to explore and grow. In addition to psychotherapy work, I'm an adjunct faculty at Lesley University, where I teach Introduction to Psychology and Child Psychology. I have completed my psychoanalysis fellowship with the IPE, which is affiliated with the New York University School of Medicine. I'm also a certified Cognitive Behavioral group therapist.
In my private practice, I work with high school, college, and graduate/professional students. I enjoy working with high-achieving students of all genders, racial/ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds. I am also pleased to see those those who strive to achieve but are facing barriers to academic or personal success. This includes students who are on leave from college for medical, personal, or financial reasons. Because I also consult to schools and colleges, I am very effective at helping students and families navigate educational institutions.
I have over 10 years of experience working with undergraduate and graduate students. These are periods of time when many life transitions happen, and I have helped many young adults not only navigate, but thrive during this important period of life. I look forward to working with you!

I have an active, directive approach in my clinical work. I do not hesitate to give direct feedback and advice to my clients, and will give homework to clients when necessary. At the start of therapy, I prefer to see clients weekly or once every other week in order to establish continuity in the therapy. I have experience providing psychotherapy for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and elderly clients. I specialize in cognitive and cognitive-behavioral techniques for the treatment of depression, anxiety, and childhood and adult ADD/ADHD. I also employ an Associate Clinician who works with me on a part-time basis. My broad range of experience and skills will help you to move forward to reach your goals with the issues that bring you to therapy. I have had many successes treating children, adolescents and adults, and look forward to working with you.

I work from an eclectic framework, beginning first with developing a strong therapeutic reliance. From there, I borrow from modalities such as ACT, Humanistic and CBT to tailor a treatment just right for you. The best way to learn if we'll be a good match is to reach out to me directly. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with over 5 years of experience in inpatient and outpatient services. I received holistic training and earned my Clinical Mental Health Counseling Masters at Lesley University, Cambridge. I provide client-centered, individual therapy, a humanistic approach. Students and clients may be in need of support to address the following: decrease stress and anxiety, increase access to self-expression, learn self-regulation skills, improve sleep, learn boundary-setting skills, or address difficulties with functioning in any life domain. I work to facilitate self-exploration, integration, and healing of the emotions and the mind, which affect the body and energy levels. My practice is via telehealth.
I specialize in working with patients who struggle with mood disorders, safety concerns, college transition, learning challenges, social skill challenges, grief/separation, and anger challenges. I provide integrated, wrap-around MMT care for my clients, and their parents/caregivers, helping facilitate an understanding of their behavioral/learning challenges. As a social worker, my focus extends beyond individual therapy sessions—I actively facilitate communication and collaboration between multiple parties involved, ensuring the best support for my clients. My goal is to empower young individuals to overcome challenges, foster personal growth, and thrive academically and personally.
College is a stressful time full of academic demands and social obligations, and everyone needs a space where they can focus on themselves. Clients that work with me are often experiencing big life changes, may be showing signs of stress and burnout, or might be noticing challenges popping up in their relationships. I work to form a strong therapeutic relationship with clients in which they can feel comfortable openly expressing their emotions, work through challenges, or just learn more about who they are. I welcome any client who is looking for a therapeutic space of their own, whether they have years of therapy under their belt or are reaching out for the first time!
I am a pre-Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and a Registered Drama Therapist (RDT). If you are feeling anxious, exploring your identities, transitioning to different cultures, environments, or age groups, I am here for you. I create a safe space for you to be heard and feel authentic. Being fluent in Japanese and coming from a different cultural background, my approach is rooted in understanding diverse emotional and cultural perspectives of my clients. I have experience providing individual and group therapy to clients ranging from children to adults with neurodevelopmental disorders, as well as those navigating anxiety, life and/or cultural transitions and trauma. My specialty is expressive therapies, particularly drama therapy. I can utilize drama therapy or expressive arts-based approach if you think that might be helpful. Words sometimes cannot articulate everything you are feeling or experiencing, but I believe imagination, embodied expression, and play can narrate them in different ways. My goal is to support you by navigating your challenges and embracing your unique stories. If you think using words in another language other than English can express your emotions well, we can explore that too. We can find a healthy relationship with your challenges by utilizing your innate creativity. 日本語でもどうぞ!
