We offer psychological testing to individuals aged 16 and older. We specialize in evaluations for ADHD, autism, and complex mental health concerns. Our owner, Dr. Jessi Manning, completed most of her training and the first 5 years of her career focused solely on college students, and she maintains a passion for this population. We are focused on neurodiversity and other aspects of diversity, especially in regard to sexual orientation and gender identity. You can begin the testing process by scheduling a free 15 minute phone consultation from the website.

Charlie Health is a virtual behavioral health program for adolescents and young adults with moderate or severe mental health concerns or co-occurring substance use or eating disorders. Designed to meet the needs of those who require more than weekly therapy, our program combines curated group therapy, individual therapy, and family therapy into personalized treatment programs. We are helping to serve those who are in crisis, or have been historically underserved, by eliminating the most significant treatment barriers: geographical and financial access. We work with nearly all commercial insurance nationwide and have no waitlist, thereby helping people access quality, evidence-based care regardless of insurance, location, or other barriers.

Welcome. If you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or exhausted by the weight of everything you’ve been carrying, I want you to know you don’t have to figure it all out alone. I believe that therapy is, first and foremost, a partnership built on warmth, safety, and mutual respect. Life can be incredibly complex, and our mental well-being is deeply connected to everything around us—our physical health, our personal histories, and the day-to-day pressures of the world we live in. My goal is to provide a soft landing place where you can step out of the chaos, catch your breath, and feel truly heard. As a counselor with a deep background in both mental health and clinical medicine, I look at the whole picture of who you are. Together, we will gently explore what is holding you back, honor your lived experience, and collaborate on a practical, supportive path forward at a pace that feels safe and right for you. My Specialties Healing Trauma & Stress: Gently working together to soothe your nervous system, process old wounds, and bring a sense of safety back to your daily life. Navigating Life & Career Transitions: Providing a steady, encouraging anchor when you are managing major life shifts, educational pursuits, or redefining your personal goals. Financial & Socioeconomic Stress: Offering a compassionate, zero-judgment space to talk about the very real anxiety, stress, and burdens that financial and systemic pressures place on our minds and families. Integrative, Whole-Person Wellness: Honoring the profound connection between your mind and body, ensuring your physical well-being is supported alongside your emotional health. My Approach My therapeutic style is warm, interactive, and deeply collaborative. I am not a passive therapist who just sits and nods; I am right there in the trenches with you, listening with an open heart and a curious mind. Because everyone processes things differently, I love using creative, visual, and practical tools to help us map out patterns and make sense of heavy emotions together. There is no judgment here—only a shared commitment to your growth, your peace of mind, and your personal autonomy. Who I Work Best With I welcome adults from all walks of life who are looking for a deeply empathetic, down-to-earth ally. Whether you are navigating a demanding career, feeling crushed by the weight of systemic barriers, or simply trying to find your footing during a time of immense change, I am here to support you. If you are looking for a space where you can be completely, authentically yourself while working toward a more peaceful, resilient life, we will likely be a wonderful fit.
I am originally from California, but have called Colorado (Denver) my home for the last thirteen years. While I do miss the ocean, I love being in the mountains and all they have to offer. When I am not working, I am often playing in my garden, doing something in the kitchen, spending time with friends and family, or traveling. I am the same person during session as I am outside of session; laid back, a little goofy, genuinely curious about others’ lives, and compassionate. I use she/her pronouns. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) and am licensed to see clients in Colorado, Indiana, Florida and Nevada. I have been practicing therapy since 2013 and truly enjoy working with my clients. I love learning about how trauma and stress can impact our minds, bodies and nervous systems and the ways we can heal and start to feel better. I am a Certified Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapist as well as a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP). I often use a mixture of EMDR, Somatic Experiencing (SE), attachment, parts focused, and mindfulness techniques to help clients begin to unpack stressful or traumatic events and begin to integrate a sense of healing back into their minds and bodies. These techniques can be helpful for clients struggling with anxiety and depression symptoms, who have experienced one or more traumatic events, substance use, emotion regulation, or uncomfortable body sensations.
My private practice sees patients of all ages but I specialize in women and most of my current clients are young adults or early teens. Having teenagers of my own, and one college student, gives me a perspective that I feel is helpful not only as a therapist but as a mother. I feel all students need a safe space to share private information that is kept confidential especially since privacy is often difficult in a college setting.
I earned my Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling and Counselor Education at IU Bloomington. I am originally from Taiwan and have enjoyed working with college students in both English and Madarin. I currently accept Aetna and United Healthcare plans, and I am working on accepting Anthem Medicaid, CareSource Medicaid, Anthem/Blue Cross Blue Shield. I offer sliding scales. I am certified in EMDR therapy through EMDRIA (EMDR International Association). I continue to take advanced trainings, seek consultation and attend study groups after being certified. I am passionate about helping people feel better and live the life they want. I have worked with a variety of conditions such as college student issues, trauma/PTSD, complex PTSD, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorders, life transitions and grief/loss. I use evidence-based approaches to help each individual meet their unique therapy goals. The services I offer are culturally sensitive and neurodivergence-affirming. I enjoy working with anyone that wants to improve their mental health while valuing equity and diversity.

College can be both exciting and overwhelming. Balancing classes, relationships, future plans, and personal struggles can leave you feeling stressed, anxious, or uncertain about yourself. Everyone faces seasons in their lives where it feels like they’re on a spinning wheel. Round and round and round you go, too afraid to get off or try something different, too stuck in old patterns or routines, lacking the skills or support to take the leap. You’re here because you want something different, something more, something better for your life. Since starting my own private practice in 2020, I have primarily worked with women in adolescence through adulthood, focusing on life transitions, relationships, divorce, parenting, trauma, grief, and self-worth. As an integrative systems therapist, I understand that the systems we’re a part of, including our families of origin, communities and social networks, country, the world, and the planet, have profound impacts on us individually. I utilize a blend of modalities that meet each client where they’re at, including mindfulness, visualization, and writing. I have been EMDR-trained since 2021. I’m currently accepting clients on a limited basis beginning in September 2026. Email me to secure your spot. I look forward to meeting you.
