These stressors often lead to anxiety and depression. The good news is that you don’t have to manage alone! My practice specializes in providing clinical counseling and consulting services for diverse populations from a systemic lens. I provide individual and family counseling, evaluations for ADHD & autism, forensic family law evaluations, as well as clinical supervision for Mental Health Counseling and Marriage & Family Therapy interns seeking licensure in Florida. I focus my clinical work on helping adolescents and teens under stress and adults who have lived through difficult times as children. This means that many of my clients identify as Gen-Z, millennials, and high-achieving professionals who have experienced trauma in their families of origin and desire to seek and engage in healthier relationships with themselves and with others. In the last few years as my practice has become more specialized, a common denominator is that many of my clients are exploring their brain style and its accompanying traits. Consequently, my ideal client is someone exploring how their ADHD, giftedness, and/or autism are impacting their school & work performance, their mental & physical health, and their relationships. Neurodiversity affirming therapy is a client-centered approach that recognizes the diversity of human experience and promotes acceptance, inclusion, and empowerment for individuals with neurological differences. As a result, my therapeutic approach is strengths-based, supportive, goal-oriented, and trauma-informed. As a systemic therapist, that means addressing diversity, gender, power, and other sociocultural dimensions is an inherent part of the work we will do together. My own lived experience combined with over a decade of working with neurodivergent individuals and their families allows me to bring unique perspective and empathy to the therapeutic space. You might like my style if you are craving- or even open to – exploration of your inner child, befriending your body, gaining emotional intelligence, and navigating healthier relationships.
Clients that I work with might fit into these categories: - Adults ages 18-35 - Queer - Trans - ADHD - Religious Trauma - Anxiety - Depression - Burn out/Stress - People Pleasing
My practice is designed for students who want a grounded, compassionate place to sort through the noise and reconnect with themselves. I understand how isolating it can feel to struggle silently while still trying to show up for school, deadlines, and the people who depend on you. Therapy with me is collaborative, warm, and practical. Together, we explore what’s weighing on you, build coping skills that actually fit your life, and create room for confidence, clarity, and emotional steadiness. Whether you’re adjusting to a new environment, managing academic stress, healing from past experiences, or simply trying to understand yourself better, you deserve support that honors your story and meets you where you are. My goal is to help you feel seen, supported, and empowered to move forward with resilience and self‑trust.
College can be a wild mix of freedom and stress... with friend drama, missing home but wanting independence, figuring out what you want to do with your life, financial pressure, loneliness when friend groups shift, and the everyday weight of adult responsibilities starting to pile up. It’s a lot to carry, and it makes sense if you’re feeling stuck, anxious, or unsure how to handle it all. And then, when you’re finally ready to reach out for support, finding a therapist can feel like another full-time assignment. Scrolling through endless profiles feels a little like online dating... you’re reading way too many bios, everyone sounds kind of the same, and you’re left wondering who you’ll actually click with. Add in the stress of costs, schedules, and trying to figure out if they’ll really get what you’re going through, and it’s exhausting before you even start. My goal is to make that step less overwhelming and give you a space where you don’t have to perform, pretend, or have it all figured out.
Congratulations on surviving the worst days of your life, now let me help you process them and move forward. I feel that everyone no matter, age, race, or sexual orientation deserves quality services. My job is to empower you to process, heal, and move forward with living your best life. As a social worker, I have a holistic approach to engaging my clients and an understanding how psychosocial stressors affects the process of healing. As a trained therapist in evidenced based practices, I have the ability to provide array of treatment models that are most effective in promoting change and reaching your desired outcome.
Hello! My name is Jessica Hallman and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia. Many of us go throughout life having to be different versions of ourselves, whether that’s being different versions at work, with friends or with family. We get into this mode where we compartmentalize, hide ourselves and our experiences for various reasons which can include shame, pain, anxiety, anger, or fear of not being accepted. This often leaves us feeling lost, tired, unfulfilled, or unhappy. Whether you are experiencing symptoms related to anxiety, depression, self-esteem, problems with relationships, or a general sense of disconnectedness, I will work alongside you to promote inner healing, self discovery, and acceptance while allowing you to feel fully seen. I’m committed to creating a space that is safe, supportive, and non-judgmental where you can gently put down the “mask” and bring your whole self. I believe in having an individualized approach to meeting your needs. With the use of Person-Centered, Cognitive Behavioral, and Solution Focused Therapy, I will support you in gaining strength and finding joy. My belief is that we are each uniquely the captains of our own lives and at times, just need a new or different perspective on how to navigate our experiences. Let’s partner together, with you leading the way at your own pace (mask off), and begin the process of restoring your inner peace.

Live and Thrive Counseling is my private practice in the community of Carrollton, Georgia. My office is close to the downtown area, but given the covid-19 changes in our daily living practices, my sessions are now fully online. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults that are struggling with depression, anxiety, poor body image, life transitions, self esteem issues, and trauma. As a registered yoga teacher (E-RYT 200) and a licensed professional counselor, I enjoy using the cognitive behavioral modality, given its heavy emphasis on mindfulness and cognitive restructuring. In addition to CBT concepts, sessions often include breathing exercises and relaxation strategy practice that the client can eventually learn to practice on his or her own to promote positive self care and healthy coping skills.

At Soul Sprout Mindful Care, we are dedicated to helping you and your family achieve Mental Health. We believe that Mental Health is just as important as physical health, and we treat it as such. We are committed to providing therapeutic services including individual outpatient therapy, family outpatient therapy, and couples outpatient therapy. A therapist will work with you to develop a treatment plan, with interventions tailored specifically to your needs. We believe that you should be heard, and we take supporting you very seriously. In the African American community, we are haunted by intergenerational trauma that shapes how we view and operate within the world. By increasing the frequency with which people of color pursue therapy, we work to break the cycle of trauma and aid you in beginning a new family tradition of mental health. We are honored to work to be a part of this change! Our number one priority is the health and safety of our clients. We're working to provide telehealth services via zoom during this COVID crisis.

Hi! My name is Rachel Devery and I work with students who struggle with OCD, general anxiety, social anxiety, performance anxiety, and trauma/PTSD. Often anxieties and trauma leads to feeling stuck, hopeless or beyond repair. We can work together to build hope and find peace. The healing journey can be scary, and you are taking some brave steps forward. I know that healing is possible and you do not have to be stuck forever. It would be my honor to work alongside you in this journey to find healing and wholeness. We will work together to reach your goals and face fears. Every person heals differently, and I use a variety of techniques from evidenced-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy.
