Hello, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 11 years of experience in outpatient mental health, crisis response, and program management. I specialize in providing individual, group, couples, and family counseling, integrating evidence-based, trauma-informed, and client-centered approaches. I have extensive experience leading multidisciplinary teams, conducting comprehensive assessments, and coordinating care across community and clinical settings. Recognized for improving client outcomes and building strong partnerships, I am committed to expanding access to quality mental health services and supporting diverse populations with compassion and expertise. One of my greatest strengths is my integrative approach—I draw from evidence-based methods like CBT, trauma-informed care, and mindfulness while tailoring each session to fit the unique needs of my clients. I’m skilled at creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel truly heard and understood, while also helping them develop practical tools they can use in daily life. Anxiety, depression, parenting, and work life balance are a few of many things that we are faced with each day, in addition to people asking us to perform despite being weighed down by those challenges. Who we are and who we want to be may not always align with who we are expected to be. Through our work together, we will explore boundaries, educational tools, and coping skills to rise to resilience and show up each day as our best self despite life’s hardships. Awareness is the foundation for change, and we will work together to enhance our personal awareness to build a more functional and peace filled existence.
I firmly believe that the mind is the most important part of ourselves. It influences how we experience the world and how others experience and see us in our day to day lives. Just as is the case with any part of the body, there are times when this crucial part of who we are may “not work as well as it should” or be subject to illness due to circumstances that are often beyond our control. We face unprecedented challenges in the world today we owe it to ourselves to prioritize mental health. I work daily with my patients (both adults and children) on improving their mental health and well-being and building resilience to not only meet these challenges head on, but to thrive.

I see a whole host of issues in my practice, however I specialize in trauma--whether that is childhood sexual abuse, current sexual assault, chronic trauma that occurred throughout your life (i.e. neglect, chaotic upbringing, etc), or one time events (natural disaster, accidents, deaths). Trauma often leads to a host of other issues, that I also work well with in my practice. Some of the issues I see alongside trauma include anxiety and depression, life transitions, relational conflict, process addictions (such as eating disorders, sex or gaming addiction), substance abuse, or family of origin issues.
