I'm Dr. Chantelle Walker, and I’m so glad you’re considering working with us. I absolutely love what I do and take great pride in creating a space where my clients can show up as their authentic selves. More importantly, I meet them exactly where they are. The therapeutic journey is a profound experience, and I never take it for granted. I laugh with my clients, support them through challenges, and sometimes even share a tear as they reach milestones they once thought were impossible. My goal is to ensure that no one feels alone—I work hard to provide a safe space where self-care and mindfulness can take center stage. I work with adults (18+) facing challenges related to anxiety, depression, life transitions, work stress, coping strategies, ADHD, attachment styles, and relationships.
I am a social worker psychotherapist with extensive experience in mental health. I have been working with individuals and families for 40 years and enjoy working with college students. My focus is on developing healthy habits and self enlightenment. I am not afraid of discussing painful or difficult issues and can handle hard emotions. I use cognitive behavioral therapy and EMDR for trauma if necessary. I encourage time in the natural world, teach mindfulness and use humor as much as possible.
My family oriented practice is balanced between adolescents and adults. I work with individuals, couples and families. I use a variety of counseling approaches in order to best fit each individual client and their needs. My goal and desire with every client is to do my best to see the world through your eyes and understand your experience in order to best provide the kind of support and encouragement you seek. In individual counseling, I work with emotional recovery, depression, anxiety, trauma and grief. With couples, I provide marital enrichment, overcoming infidelity, improved communication and reconciliation. I support families in restoring relationships, improving overall functioning, conflict resolution and problem solving skills. I would be honored to walk with you from your current experience toward the future you desire. Helping you discover ways of being which you find meaningful, purposeful and fulfilling will be a rewarding experience for both of us. I'd love to speak with you as you consider moving forward with counseling.

Hello! I'm so glad you're taking this step for your mental health. I went to the therapy for the first time while attending college (at USC too!), and it was pivotal for me. I really value working with college students, and genuinely appreciate how much you have to do deal with. Maybe you're struggling with transitions - adjusting to the start of college, or facing the daunting landscape post-graduation. Maybe you can feel all the pressures mounting to the point where you feel paralyzed and burnt out and confused. Maybe you'd like for just one thing - anything - to be taken off your plate, or for the load to be shared somehow. Maybe you're even trying to figure yourself out beyond the story that's been your life so far. I'd like to help make things seem clearer, or kinder, or safer, and I think we can do it together. I offer 45-minute sessions, as well as longer 90-minute sessions, to fit what you might need best. I also offer letters for medical transition, disability, ESA, and can complete return to school forms.
I understand that life can sometimes feel overwhelming. Emotions can be intense, and it’s not always easy to navigate the challenges they bring. I’m here to help you find balance, build resilience, and take control of your emotional well-being. I hope to provide you with a safe, non-judgmental space to explore your thoughts and feelings. I believe that healing and growth begins with understanding, acceptance, and self-compassion. I provide services for adolescents and adults, and primarily see clients for anxiety, depression, personality disorders, grief and loss, trauma, family and relationship issues, and major life transitions. Whether you are trying out therapy for the first time, seeking to find a better therapy fit, or simply wanting to return to therapy work, don’t wait to start your journey towards a more balanced and fulfilling life.

At Roll for Wellness, we prioritize providing affirming and supportive care for Neurodivergent (ADHD, Autism, Complex PTSD and other Chronic Mental Health Challenges), LGBTQ+ and BIPOC folks. This includes providing a variety of services to adults who need help maintaining the responsibilities of life and want to have fun. Our services are tailored for folks who are learning to embrace their nerdy, weird authentic selves. We work with associate therapist and interns who want to learn how to support these specific populations. It also allows us to offer a sliding scale to meet anyone's budget.
As a clinician, I work to develop a secure and trusting relationship with clients rooted in transparency and mutual vulnerability. Using a strengths-based perspective allows me to help you to uncover parts of yourself that may have been lost due to society’s grueling demands. How can you access a deep level of emotion when you’re just trying to keep your head above water today? When you juggle your job, school, children, relationships, etc.; it can be challenging to experience moments of joy. My goal is to encourage you in your journey and make aspects of your present life more manageable.
My pronouns are she/her/hers. I offer both individual therapy and psychological assessment. Assessment can be used to evaluate for concerns like ADHD or autism, screen for learning challenges, track changes in neurological functioning, and more. For assessment, I see clients 5 years and older. For individual therapy, I see clients age 14 and older. I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and coping with life changes. I also used to work at universities and know the unique experiences and challenges college students face. For any therapist you work with, one of the most important pieces is connection. I may not be the right therapist for everyone and that is perfectly ok. Find who you mesh with and who works for you, and you will give yourself the best chance of success! I believe that therapy is only part of your journey. When we meet, I want to know not only what is upsetting you but also what your goals and hopes are for the future. My goal is to stand with you as you gain the power to reclaim the parts of your life you want to improve. If you feel a connection with me, therapy can be a place to learn more about yourself, challenge worries, process past and current strife, and more. I can be a witness, guide, support, and collaborator. We will work together to get you through this.

Our mission at Hope Springs is to 'Join You On Your Journey Towards Your Best Life Possible"
Just like many other life transitions, the college and university experience can bring a mix of excitement and uncertainty. College students often face challenges with decision-making, adjusting to new environments, socializing, and managing increased responsibilities. These struggles can contribute to heightened anxiety, loneliness, and symptoms of depression, making it difficult to navigate this pivotal time in life. College-related anxiety can show up in many forms, ranging from mild, everyday stress to more extreme fears. The uncertainty of the future and what happens after college can trigger deep worries, even if those concerns aren’t based on personal experiences. You’re not alone—many students share these feelings as they face the unknown. As an anxiety therapist for college students, I take a unique approach to therapy. I work with you to uncover the root causes of your anxiety, and together, we create a treatment plan that suits your needs, whether you’re seeking short-term relief or long-term support. With an integrative approach that considers both mental and physical health, I help college students address their psychological struggles from every angle. Therapy is a collaborative process, where we’ll identify your specific concerns and develop personalized coping skills and techniques to guide you through these challenging times. Together, we’ll navigate your journey to mental wellness and help you build the resilience you need to thrive.
