I strongly value creating a compassionate and non-judgmental setting where we can work together to address your challenges and build a more enjoyable and meaningful life. I use evidence-based treatments to address a wide range of problems including anxiety disorders and stress management, obsessive-compulsive and related disorders (ex: OCD, skin picking, hair pulling), PTSD, mood disorders (ex: depression, bipolar disorder), and insomnia. My treatment approach explores the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and incorporates mindfulness and acceptance techniques to help make lasting changes in your everyday life. I find that this approach adds to my clients’ understanding of themselves and helps them develop greater self-compassion and empowerment in the face of their difficulties. Give me a call so we can discuss what you're looking for and whether we might be a good fit!

Feeling overwhelmed by college life? Between classes, deadlines, social pressure, and trying to figure out what’s next, it’s a lot. Maybe you’re struggling with imposter syndrome, a breakup, feeling isolated or lonely, or even questioning who you are and where you fit in. The loss of relationships, shifts in identity, anxiety, and depression can all pile up fast. You’re not alone—and you don’t have to push through it by yourself. I specialize in working with college students who are balancing academics, relationships, and personal challenges. Whether you’re navigating stress, self-doubt, loneliness, or a major life transition, my goal is to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported. College can be an exciting time, but it can also feel confusing and overwhelming. Let’s work together to help you feel more confident, grounded, and in control of your journey.

I am a practicum intern therapist offering somatic, person-centered therapy for adults navigating life transitions, relationship challenges and identity shifts. I am especially passionate about helping women traverse the emotional landscape of midlife, menopause, and perimenopause. My approach to therapy is grounded, intuitive, and deeply relational. I create a warm, attuned space where you feel supported in exploring who you are and where you want to go. I believe that change feeds the soul—and that healing begins when we meet ourselves with compassion, curiosity and courage. Before entering the field of psychotherapy, I was a professional musician and integrative somatic coach. My background in music and coaching informs my ability to listen deeply, connect through presence, and help you attune to the rhythms of your own inner experience. In addition to completing my Master's in Clinical Counseling at Adams State University, I am currently pursuing certification as a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner through Somatic Experiencing International. I offer therapy in person in Boulder and online throughout Colorado under the supervision of licensed clinicians at Thrive Psychotherapy.

Who I work with: - People who are fired up and ready to do this - “Refugees” from conventional eating disorder treatment who are ready to finally get to the root of the issue - Folks with some sass, fire, and rebelliousness (with a soft and sensitive core) - Quirky go-getters, nerds and misfits, and outsiders with undercover witchy tendencies - People who want better relationships, emotional resiliency skills, and a healthier relationship with food and their body - People who’ve tried talk therapy and have an inkling there’s something more: a deeper, more soulful connection to themselves and all their inner parts. *I welcome folks of all identities and sizes How I work: Is it frustrating for you when people tell you to “just let it go” or “be kinder to yourself”? As if there were some switch you could flip…if you just weren’t so stubborn / clueless / goofy. First up: there is no such switch. (If there were, someone would have patented it by now). Second up: suggestions like this, no matter how well-intentioned, almost never work. They can also leave us feeling frustrated and like failures. Self-compassion and emotional healing are trickier than most people (or cutesy magnets) would have you believe. Myth: Just talk through why you feel this way and you problem will vanish. Truth: Real healing takes more than head-knowing. It’s a whole-bodied affair. This is why typical talk therapy - where you come in, sit on a couch, share how you feel - often falls short. You leave feeling like "ok, I feel a little better, but now what?" So I work a little differently. Still talk, still insight, but more connection to body, intuition, and emotions. We get beyond the "why" and get to the actual "how" of real change. You can read more about my approach at www.stephaniesmallhealth.com. I’m a licensed clinical social worker and nutritionist. I received my BA from Yale University, my MSW from Smith College for Social work, and certificates in Holistic Nutrition Education and Mental Health Nutrition from Bauman College and the Academy for Addiction and Mental Health Nutrition. I ran the nutrition program at a substance abuse recovery center in Denver for two years and have trained in trauma therapy, internal parts work, somatic therapies, and more. I currently maintain a private practice online and in Boulder and Denver, CO, write for national and local publications, consult for mental health agencies and substance abuse recovery centers, and speak at live events.

I specialize in helping individuals recovery from eating disorders, disordered eating, compulsive/obligatory exercise, body image distress and associated anxiety and depression. I practice virtually in Colorado so accessing counseling is flexible and convenient. I understand the challenges of academic rigor at Mines and have worked with many Mines students -undergrad and grad. Fun fact: I majored in Chemistry and decided in the end I was more interested in people than molecules. I've been supporting people in eating recovery for over a decade. My clients tend to find me approachable, non-judgmental, and action oriented.

I work with many college students who are needing some support, guidance, and tools that can help them navigate their current life situation. I personally understand, from my own experience at college, some of the challenges and difficulties that can arise, so there is a lot of compassion and understanding for what you may be experiencing. I also have experience working with local students at CU. College can be exciting, fresh, and new. At the same, it puts us in completely new surroundings and situations. Overwhelm is natural. To any student who is considering therapy, I hope you know that overwhelm doesn't mean that something has gone wrong. It's normal when there are so many big changes taking place. My job is primarily to listen to you, and to really try to understand things from your perspective. This in itself is quite relieving: to be heard, seen, and understood. There's no reason for you to feel completely alone and isolated in your experience. Above all, you will find a supportive space in my practice for you to be at ease and be yourself. There are many wonderful counselors out there, and many not-so-good ones. My strong advice to you is to find a therapist who you really like, and don't stop looking for one until you find them. Before and during my own college experience, I had visited several counselors who I didn't have a real connection with. It wasn't until I was 22 that I found a counselor who I really connected with. Counseling should be a very positive experience. It is a huge resource in life. Trust yourself about what feels good to you - and go for it!

Welcome! My name is Christie Morgan and I am a relational trauma therapist in Boulder, CO. I am passionate about helping couples and individuals experience personal and relational healing. Has your life been impacted by trauma and you feel like there is no one who can understand you? You may feel as if you are in survival mode and no longer know who the true you is. Or perhaps you feel alone in your relationship and wonder if you can ever restore the connection you once had. However you arrived here, you are welcome here. My goal is to create a safe space for you to heal as you experience feeling seen and known. I often begin with offering clients tools for navigating the difficult waters they are facing. Before entering into the deep healing work, I make sure that you feel stable and equipped to navigate the healing process. Together, we will rework the negative and shaming messages that hold you down and isolate you, so that you can love yourself amidst your imperfections and live life more fully. I empower my clients to discover wholeness through evidence-based modalities such as IFS (Internal Family Systems), Attachment theory, EFT (Emotion-Focused Therapy), and mind-body connection through a trauma informed lens. I believe that access to mental health should be a human right. We all deserve someone who can listen to us and help us navigate the difficult seasons of our lives. My goal is to be a safe person in my clients' lives. I am LGBTQ+ affirming and am passionate about creating safe spaces of belonging for clients in this community. A core part of my work as a therapist, who is passionate about social justice, is creating a kinder, safer, and more just world. This begins with people feeling safe and at home with themselves. My desire is that in fostering a safe space for clients to heal their trauma, they will become catalysts for healing as they, too, foster safe spaces within their families and communities. I am currently offering online and nature-based therapy sessions.

My approach is to connect with you, to meet you right where you are in your life. I won’t presume to know what’s right for you (it’s really you that’s the expert when it comes to what’s right for you.) Sometimes, confusion clouds your ability to find your way – that’s why you’re here… My experience and training will help guide you back to health and wellness. I’ll join you as you do the work, so that you’re not alone working your way back. I can see you clearly, even when you can’t. For me, it’s simply natural to relate to you in whatever state you are in. Life is sometimes messy, ugly, embarrassing, painful, or shameful – but I see more than what you are going through or feeling in the moment. I am good at joining with you in your struggles and will even hold hope when it’s hard for you to do so. Change is often hard and it’s my privilege to share in your journey toward a life filled with less anxiety, deeper meaning, more joy, and relationships that are healthy and secure.

Life can often present us with challenges that leave us feeling not like ourselves. Many of us seek to deepen connections to feel a sense of peace, wellness, and fulfillment in our lives, but don't know where to begin. I offer a holistic approach to therapy using evidence based practices, somatic/body techniques, mindfulness/meditation, & family systems techniques within an attachment framework. If you are experiencing changes/transitions, have concerns about self-esteem and identity, or experience stress, anxiety, depression or trauma, let's work together to provide you a space to process your experiences and sense of relief. I offer telehealth, office, and nature based sessions. The outdoors can offer a place of healing and rejuvenation. My practice utilizes nature to enhance the healing impacts of traditional talk therapy. I offer a walk-and-talk model that combines the freeing element of being outdoors with psychotherapy. Movement in the outdoors gives us the ability to access our emotions and process our experiences while feeling grounded and attuned to the moment. This can be a new and inspiring experience for those who have tried traditional office-based therapy and felt they needed something different or more dynamic.

A therapy session with me always starts with you. I want you to feel safe and comfortable as you share your situation. While making that first call to a therapist is difficult, most people feel great relief once they do. My main focus is Women in College, processing their challenges and moving toward who they want to become. My goal for you, is to help you find relief quickly. I work with people facing a variety of challenges, including: Anxiety, Life Transitions, Stress, Conflict, Trauma and Childhood Trauma. I offer support, encouragement, and guidance. Therapy is not about living a stress-free life, but rather learning how to navigate that stress with confidence and skill. The work we do is interactive, and I will encourage you to explore options, opportunities and choices. We will work together to help you create a sense of calm, self-assurance and stability as you navigate your life and the issues that have brought you in to meet with me. In my experience, clients I have done EMDR therapy with have had quicker, more effective and longer lasting results than traditional talk therapy. Release the past, calm the present, and learn to trust your Inner Wisdom! Call or text Tenaya at: 720-440-0080 Telehealth (computer sessions) available.

Hello. I am Dr. Rhoda Lipscomb and I am a certified sex therapist and coach who specializes in alternative means of sexual expression. I work with those who need help with issues of AB/DL, BDSM, kink, fetishes, open relationships (swinging, polyamory, designer) as well as issues of anxiety, depression, self-esteem, life transition, and stress reduction. I have 30 years experience in the field of mental health counseling and have been in private practice for 16 years. I provide all services virtually using video conferencing. While I provide psychotherapy to those within the state of CO, I also offer mental health and sexuality coaching for those in other states. Many college aged adults can benefit from working with someone who specializes in sexuality, however most sex therapists and coaches in private practice charge rates that are difficult for college students to afford. I have made my fees on Thriving Campus much lower than my usual rate so it can be more accessible for young adults in college who are struggling with sexual issues as well as anxiety, self-esteem and life transition.
