I accept Anthem, Cigna, United, and Aetna insurance. If you're embarking on finding a therapist for the first time or seeking a new one, you're taking a courageous step toward prioritizing your well-being and health. It's not an easy decision to make, especially considering life's challenges and the accumulation of stress, particularly during academic pursuits or while navigating livelihood demands. With 20 years of experience, I specialize in working with anxiety and stress among young adults. I provide support for individuals dealing with depression, grief, and trauma recovery. What sets my practice apart is my two decades of experience working with stress, anxiety, loss/grief, and traumatic experiences. I work in my office and via telehealth, and I incorporate nature and equine-assisted therapy into the healing process. When partnering with horses, I facilitate connections with the natural world, which fosters transformation and healing of trauma and stress within a safe, confidential environment. I also have an office space in Gunbarrel and work with modalities such as Somatic Experiencing, Internal Family Systems, and EMDR. If you're interested in scheduling a complimentary phone call, please get in touch with me. I also take CU student insurance through Anthem and United Insurance, as well.

I am a compassionate therapist who values my relationship with clients and who works hard to effectively provide education, feedback, and a variety of strategies to address presenting issues. I work with my clients to enhance their self-awareness, understand sources of stress, discover their inner strengths and resilience, and improve their effectiveness. Therapeutic Approach: I believe in empowering people to work through life's challenging experiences. I am dedicated to working with my clients to identify the source of distress or difficulty and develop strategies to improve their lives. My ideal client is an adult, young or old, who is navigating the challenges of life, starting a family, parenting, family or peer relationships, or personal performance issues. My extensive experience working with adults and adolescents on issues related to mood and behavior, and current and past trauma, has informed many of my treatment approaches. Additionally, I have experience providing fertility support, treating postpartum depression/anxiety, and enjoy my work with teens and young adults navigating their developmental challenges, and athletes on performance enhancement and improvement. I have the E. Passport from PSYPACT, which grants me the Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT) in 41 US States. Programs Offered: Currently I provide initial, extensive consultations, ongoing trauma-focused therapy, Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP), psychedelic preparation and harm reduction support, and individual and group psychedelic integration support. ***Join us on a 4-6 week Journey of KAP this summer! As a client, you will receive your own individualized KAP services and be part of a larger group of peers on this journey. It is our hope to build a community of personal and collective growth and mutual support in this process.*** Contact us for more information at renew.mhim@gmail.com

I help queer female college students suffering from emotional overwhelm, chronic stress, and anxiety about their future. Using the body-centered and expressive arts approaches of dance/movement psychotherapy, I help these young women discover their innate strength and resilience. By cultivating a connection to their bodies and true inner experience, my clients learn the tools they need to succeed in the modern world while developing a grounded and confident sense of who they are and what they want in their lives..

Psychiatrist
Boulder, CO

Will Siu MD, DPhil, is an Oxford and Harvard educated psychiatrist working at the interface of medicine, mysticism, and transformation. Shaped by his own healing journey, his work focuses on trauma, resilience and the deeper dimensions of human evolution — drawing on somatic therapy and integrative approaches that conventional psychiatry rarely reaches. Treatment Philosophy: Healing is a relational, transformational, and deeply human process. While medications can play an important role at certain moments, I’ve found that lasting change emerges through psychotherapy and through reconnecting people with their own capacity for awareness, vitality, and agency. My early training included classical psychotherapy, and over the years I’ve integrated it with insights from Eastern philosophies, contemplative practices, somatic work, and modern trauma science. I also support spiritual and meditative practices for those who are drawn to them, and I draw from my experience in psychedelic-assisted therapy when it aligns with a person’s readiness and goals (though I do not provide psychedelic sessions). Although I do prescribe medication, most of the people I work with are not on psychiatric drugs. When medications are used, I view them as temporary supports rather than long-term solutions, and I remain attentive to reducing or discontinuing them when life becomes manageable without them. At the heart of my work is the therapeutic relationship—an authentic, attuned space where people can safely explore their inner world, integrate their history, and reconnect with their inherent aliveness. My role is to help people access their own inner healer—the part of them that knows how to grow, repair, and transform when given the right conditions. Ultimately, the aim of treatment is freedom: to live with greater clarity, creativity, connection, and self-trust.

I am a mindfulness and body-oriented therapist who specializes in various challenges such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationship issues, eating disorders, substance abuse, and developmental issues. I believe that a deep dive into our more painful experiences is less frightening when done in the presence of a loving and non-judgmental therapist. I help people let go of fear and step into their full potential. Together, we will move through your trauma and pain from the past, unearth the parts of yourself that are no longer serving you, and create positive change and movement in your life from this point forward. I work to highlight the strengths and wisdom you already possess that have helped you get here to the present moment. We will practice patience with the parts of you that are still growing while infusing new habits and self-care routines in order to create forward momentum and help you rise into the highest version of yourself.

Hi, welcome to my practice! My main goal is to help you rediscover your true self. My approach to psychotherapy is holistic. Healing is most effective if it addresses the full range of the human experience, including body, mind and spirit. This understanding is rooted in my personal journey of healing in different wisdom traditions of the world. I have received training in shamanic traditions of South, Central, and North America. I completed my yoga teacher training in India, studied massage therapy in Thailand and have practiced Chinese martial arts for several years. Additionally, I worked for three years as a wilderness field guide in a wilderness treatment program with and emphasis on addiction. In my practice, I focus on somatic or body-based therapy, as well internal family systems and transpersonal psychotherapy. Some of my areas of expertise are trauma, addiction, sexuality, identity, anxiety and depression. I do talk therapy, as well as ketamine and cannabis-assisted therapy. I am devoted to being an unconditional support to my clients, walking beside them as they heal their deepest wounds and rediscover the wisdom of their body along the way.

Clients who I work best with want to know something about themselves. They may be suffering with any number of symptoms, but also have a curiosity. Maybe there is a sense of something still to be discovered. Through my work with Inner World Building, a hands on, active, somatic therapy, the unknown can be known, felt and expressed in a way that words can't. Not sure if this approach is for you? Feel free to try a demo session and decide for yourself if the method will be useful. The base of this therapy is making, building in the sand and with the figures; not talk therapy. But talking and integrating one's experience is an additive important part of the process.

I am honored to work with people feeling heartache inside the constraints of our modern world. Through conditioning + relational wounding, we temporarily lose touch with the deep, innate wisdom of our souls + bodies. What is needed is a safe space, a compassionate guide, and supportive tools to help us reintegrate all of our parts. With a capacity to listen deeply and a keen understanding of the complex layers of the human experience, I help my clients re-weave a life of self-worth, integrity and love. I champion your unique expression and full aliveness. I have clinical expertise working with complex trauma. I am committed to a healing path that is somatically rooted.
