Hi! I'm Annabelle. I work with adults presenting with ADHD and have a history of trauma. Many people who have not been diagnosed in childhood are now noticing how heavy daily life can be, holding everything together with exhaustion and lack of joy. Adults with ADHD have a complex relationship with themselves, the way they have been able to be highly functioning while feeling discombobulated, afraid of rejection, starting but never finishing projects, bored with daily life. I approach therapy from a somatic perspective with a focus on trauma and attachment, as well as a more directive perspective : helping you navigate your ADHD and finding a way to help your life fit you. This blend of approaches works well with individuals navigating daily life while feeling stuck in past experiences of trauma/ childhood wounds. I am ADHD-CCSP certified. I am also trained in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy for trauma, experiential work, and EMDR

Let’s work together to help you thrive! I’m a therapist and prescriber who believes that good mental healthcare is just as important as physical healthcare. Everyone reaches a point in life when they need to make a change. Sometimes we feel stuck and need perspective in finding our own strengths and some new resources. I am in this work because I believe in change and that in pain, there is room for growth and reconnection with what feels most important. Finding a way to work through a traumatic experience, a stressful life transition or confronting long-time challenges can be an overwhelming task. I can join you in the effort. In meeting primarily with individuals, I approach this work with honesty, humility and warmth with the broader goal of providing empirically sound, non-judgmental therapeutic support.
Do you have that sinking sensation that you are not in control of your own life? Your decisions are governed by hidden desires, urges, fears, and conditioning - the unconscious. If unexamined it has the terrible power to ruin you, but, if harnessed, it can be a source of incredible power, motivation, and creativity. Now is the time to take your first step towards freedom. Pick up the torch of awareness and walk, head held high, into the darkness of your unconscious mind!

At my core I’m a human being continually learning to love all that it means to have a human experience in our crazy world. The natural world is my muse, and I enjoy live music, hiking, rock climbing, backpacking, and overlanding the American West. My personal journey through life has helped me to develop a keen interest in human emotion, thoughts, and experiences. Through an attitude of curiosity, I’ve learned to allow my own experiences, emotions and thoughts to inform my moment-by-moment existence in a way that permits me to truly love my life. Strongly influenced by American psychologist Carl Rogers, I believe each human being has a unique and individual definition of what it means to live a life they love. In order to attain this, like Rogers, I believe people need acceptance, genuineness and empathy. My approach to therapy aims to help you live a life you love by weaving in a number of modalities including DBT, ACT, CBT, IFS, and mindfulness. My methodology is grounded in psychodynamic theory, attachment theory, psychoanalytic theory, trauma-informed psychotherapy, and a relationship-centered approach to therapy. Prior to my MSW, I received my BA in Mathematics and had a career in data and analytics. I love logic and using data to inform thoughtful decision-making. In a therapeutic context this means practicing deep listening to ensure I capture my clients’ unique words, feelings, insights, emotions, and stories. Through this, I aim to support you in realizing your potential and achieving your goals. I support people and couples through a number of different mental health difficulties including but not limited to trauma, loss, relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, anger, addictions, self-esteem issues, body-dysmorphia, and other life transitions.

Life is challenging and confusing, especially during a time like right now. Given the pandemic, many of us are attempting to find normalcy in an extremely abnormal situation. Everyday life has become even more stressful, it's harder to be in relationship, and finding moments of "okay" might be few and far between. Having your own space to talk about your experiences, whether dealing with the present situation or managing old wounds, is not only important but beneficial for maintaining our mental health. I work with adolescents, young adults and adults on a variety of issues. Primarily, I help clients by bringing attention to the storylines we have created (and will continue to create) about ourselves that cause pain, distress, and disconnection. These stories might look like: I am not [fill in the blank] enough; I should be happier/more successful/less afraid; I am unworthy of love; I can't manage life on life's terms; I’m an outsider. Uncovering these storylines and reframing them is the beginning to living a different life, one that feels, well frankly, better.

Talking to someone who can and does understand, helps. And it can help even further if your therapist can guide you into deeper understandings of what you are going through and how you are going through it. Some ways of dealing are more optimal than other. My job is to enable you to see the many paths available to you and strengthen your courage to make your best and most conscious choices.
Who I work with: - People who are fired up and ready to do this - “Refugees” from conventional eating disorder treatment who are ready to finally get to the root of the issue - Folks with some sass, fire, and rebelliousness (with a soft and sensitive core) - Quirky go-getters, nerds and misfits, and outsiders with undercover witchy tendencies - People who want better relationships, emotional resiliency skills, and a healthier relationship with food and their body - People who’ve tried talk therapy and have an inkling there’s something more: a deeper, more soulful connection to themselves and all their inner parts. *I welcome folks of all identities and sizes How I work: Is it frustrating for you when people tell you to “just let it go” or “be kinder to yourself”? As if there were some switch you could flip…if you just weren’t so stubborn / clueless / goofy. First up: there is no such switch. (If there were, someone would have patented it by now). Second up: suggestions like this, no matter how well-intentioned, almost never work. They can also leave us feeling frustrated and like failures. Self-compassion and emotional healing are trickier than most people (or cutesy magnets) would have you believe. Myth: Just talk through why you feel this way and you problem will vanish. Truth: Real healing takes more than head-knowing. It’s a whole-bodied affair. This is why typical talk therapy - where you come in, sit on a couch, share how you feel - often falls short. You leave feeling like "ok, I feel a little better, but now what?" So I work a little differently. Still talk, still insight, but more connection to body, intuition, and emotions. We get beyond the "why" and get to the actual "how" of real change. You can read more about my approach at www.stephaniesmallhealth.com. I’m a licensed clinical social worker and nutritionist. I received my BA from Yale University, my MSW from Smith College for Social work, and certificates in Holistic Nutrition Education and Mental Health Nutrition from Bauman College and the Academy for Addiction and Mental Health Nutrition. I ran the nutrition program at a substance abuse recovery center in Denver for two years and have trained in trauma therapy, internal parts work, somatic therapies, and more. I currently maintain a private practice online and in Boulder and Denver, CO, write for national and local publications, consult for mental health agencies and substance abuse recovery centers, and speak at live events.

It’s my privilege to listen to your story. In today’s fast-paced world, it’s rare to truly talk, share, and connect without distractions. You might be surprised by how much you can learn about yourself just by hearing your own words during therapy. My approach is all about meeting you where you are, with empathy and compassion. I believe in the power of a genuine, healing relationship that helps you grow and thrive. You are a dynamic, one-of-a-kind individual, and my role is to support you in living authentically as we explore your depth together. I will guide you in cultivating a true relationship with yourself through the art of self-reflection. This is your opportunity to be curious, open, and to let go of any limiting beliefs about who you think you are. If you can’t find the perfect solution to magically feel better, you might as well live with the nagging feeling of failure. Fail Better! You probably never considered that “failing better” could be a remedy—especially for how you're feeling right now. But now that I’ve got your attention, you're in the right place to reconnect with your true potential, which is capable of success beyond what you can imagine right now. Here’s the thing: it’s not failure that’s holding you back; it’s the belief that you need to be perfect or find the perfect solution. Your challenges do not define you. You are the author of your story and I can’t wait to see how it unfolds.
College can be intense — full of pressure, transitions, and big questions about who you are and where you’re headed. I offer a calm, compassionate space to slow things down and be with what’s coming up, just as you are, without rushing or fixing. My work is informed by Internal Family Systems (parts work) and mind-body awareness, and is centered on curiosity, presence, and working together. I offer a 15-minute consult as a brief opportunity to connect and ask questions about working together. Students often come to me feeling overwhelmed, self-critical, anxious, or unsure — sometimes carrying stress, family dynamics, perfectionism, or past experiences that still affect them. In our work together, we move gently and at a pace that feels supportive and respectful, paying attention to your inner experience, including how things show up in the body. You don’t need to know exactly what you want to work on or have the right words — we listen together beneath the pressure, creating room for insight, relief, and meaningful change to unfold over time. I have over 10 years of experience supporting people through this kind of inner work. I see therapy as a place where you can feel accompanied as you get to know yourself more deeply and find your own sense of clarity and direction.
Are you feeling lost or disconnected from yourself or the world around you? Is everything changing and you don’t know where to find stability? Are you struggling to cope with your past and want to get back to who you truly are and what lights you up? I support women of all ages and young adults who are experiencing some kind of life transition, healing from trauma, or grieving a loss. So often we feel lost trying to cope with this wild ride we call life, but you are not alone. I work from a trauma informed and nature based perspective to help you deeply connect with the person you want to be. Together we can heal the past and shift the inner criticism that may be holding you back from living fully & confidently.
Hi, I’m Jasmine. I’m a licensed social worker here to help you navigate this season of your life. I enjoy working with young adults as they explore who they are and learn to be the healthiest version of themselves. I know how hard it can be to decide to start therapy. There can be a lot of unanswered questions in the beginning. I get it. Rest assured that we can talk through any questions you may have. In the meantime, know that I am a person centered/relational therapist, which means I value the relationship between client and therapist above all else. I also value the process of change and know that it is necessary for growth…even when it’s hard or scary. I understand that we all learn, grow, and process in our own unique ways. My sessions are flexible to your own personal style of learning and expressing yourself. Want to play a video game together and chat? Feel more comfortable doodling or drawing during your sessions? Want to spend your time journaling before speaking? We can do the things that work best for you! Therapy can be a challenge because LIFE is challenging, but there are steps we can take and skills we can adapt to give us a smoother experience. Let’s navigate these challenges together, set the goals you wish to see in your life, and work towards a fulfilled and happier you! In the meantime, here’s a little something to get to know me better: In my free time, I love trying new Colorado adventures with my husband and sweet pup. I enjoy hiking, camping, snowboarding, and many of the adventures that mountains have to offer! When I am enjoying time at home, I love gardening, food canning/preservation, and woodworking. Not all of my time is spent dreaming about the outdoors though! A lot of the time, you can find me playing video games, watching anime (or any streaming shows really), or sitting down with a nice fiction book. I am just another “social” introvert! The process of learning, change, and new adventures fuel my soul! I can’t wait to get to know what fuels you as well!
We use a process of looking at the imagination, loose associations, and dream material to help integrate subconscious depths with conscious material. The invisible is welcome and we will work best to support you. Surprise us with the breadth of the unknown. We work with individuals, not issues.
